It is not good, however, to see that the leaves are already falling. My yard, that we finally got cleaned up after Isabel, is covered in leaves this a.m.

All 16 of my oak trees are still standing. For that, I'm thankful. But they could've been kind enough to hold onto their leaves for a couple more weeks...

Are those red oaks? Is it fall, already? We have red and white oaks. And yes, it does appear to be fall.
I'm just whining a bit. Since we were gone for four days and we left with the yard looking pretty clean, it was just a bit startling to come back to more leaves.

Yeah, I miss all the oak trees down around home. Here I've got pecans - they are beautiful shade trees but I hate dealing with the constantly falling branches and I never pick up the pecans.
