Stevie Nicks is a little old, a little overweight, and a little liberal. But I still have the hots for her.
Maybe more so, after reading this bit of common sense.

I thought it was the most obnoxious moment in television history
I thought the most obnoxious moment in television history was when June Cleaver said to her husband: "Ward, you were pretty hard on the Beaver last night"

No, the most obnoxious moment was the Al-Tipper kiss.

I look for Britney to show up in a popular mens magazine within the next couple of years.

Nicks is the ultimate rock survivor, weathering drug addictions, depression and a tumultuous relationship with Lindsey Buckingham.I just can't help but be tickled by the way dating Lindsey Buckingham is placed on a par, horror-wise, with depression and drug addiction. :)

The most obnoxious moment in television history -- and one that I would love to remove from my brain by any means possible, was the Al-Tipper convention liplock-ugh-barforama.

Yes, it may have been even more obnoxious than the Al/Tipper kiss at the convention or Bill mouthing "I love you" to Hellary at the State Of the Union speech. Maybe not. I shudder at the thought.

Original rock chick Nicks, 55, said Spears and Christina Aguilera should wear more clothes and try writing decent songs."I personally have never been to a strip club, but I turn on MTV and see in every single video what it must be like to be at a strip club," Nicks said.
"I think the mystery is gone, and if you have no mystery, then you aren't even sexy.
This can't be. Stevie Nicks has turned into . . . everybody's MOM . . . ;o)

Stevie Nicks on Madonna/Britney kiss: "the most obnoxious moment in television history"I don't know about the Madonna/Britney kiss being obnoxious, but I did find it to be contrived and a big bore. But I guess some viewers are very easily titillated.

So few women seem to understand that these days....
So few men appreciate it.

I also recall that Stevie Nicks was less than thrilled that the Clinton campaign used the Fleetwood Mac song "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" as its campaign theme. I think she had some unflattering things to say about Clinton at the time, although she stopped short of saying she planned to vote Republican.

This just shows the difference between liberals of the 70's and socialists of the 90's and beyond. Just a matter of defining deviency down.
