The most obnoxious moment in television history was when Al Gore showed up at the first Bush/Gore debate in 2000 wearing so much makeup that he looked like a transvestite.

It's real simple - she backs the troops, she gets every inch of slack I can cut her. You don't have to be 20 to be hot - heck, I still think Lauren Bacall is hot and she's a wrinkly commie. Rhiaaaaaaaaanon...

more recent pics of Stevie
This next one was at a Reno concent in August or July of this year:
And this is supposedly from an article with Cheryl Crow in the summer
As a women, I gotta say that I think she looks lovely. She's 55 and I think she's still a very nice looking woman. Better then Cheryl Crow next to her in that last one and she's Cheryl's senior by about 20 years or so.

Was listening to Stevie singing "Landslide" and "Silver Springs" on the CD player driving home from work the other day. Sure made the drive a lot more pleasant!
One of the best female songwriters/singers of my generation, IMHO, if not THE best. Hearing Stevie speak common sense like this puts her even higher in my book.

Original rock chick Nicks, 55, said Spears and Christina Aguilera should wear more clothes and try writing decent songs.I always had the hots for Stevie, especially when she went solo with "Belladonna" album. What a voice, what a gal...true Belladonna!
...and she is from Texas too if my memory serves me right!

"Madonna will be fine. Madonna is Madonna. She does what she wants. She will get over this. But will Britney get over it? I don't know."Oh Puh Leeze. Naive little Britney is no different than Madonna - a cold, calculating media whore. She got over it before she did it on stage.
"Oooh, really, we didn't plan it, it was spontaneous, it just happened." If you believe that, I have a portfolio of bridges and skyscrapers to sell you. Cheap. Are people really that stupid?

Saw Fleetwood Mac on Sunday night. Too bad they didn't play more songs from their current album, especially Stevie's stuff. Lindsay played his arms off - not too many 20-something axemen could have showed his stamina. All and all a very good show, although the folks at the Wachovia Center should be horsewhipped for the way they pack seats onto the floor - when you pay $125 for a seat, you don't expect to get the sardine treatment.
