So now we are homophobes if conservative historians disagree with their take?

Leave the poor man to rest in peace. He's not alive to confirm or deny. To quote Mrs. Cheney, these just aren't decent people.

All they are trying to do is rewrite history for political purposes.
They are demented and will stop at nothing to justify their agenda.

The game is to declare every famous or revered person gay, so then that will make their aberrant behavior OK.

This sickens me. These are people with no self control. One does not have to act on every thought that goes through ones head.

And they will continue to show us how all these great people were homosexuals. Of course we should all be proud that some many of our national heroes were homosexuals. In fact, we should have a national holiday - National Homosexual Heroes Day!

They do the same to so many other figures in history. It makes me ill.

I don't quite understand why their urge for validation is so strong that they have to force homosexuality on people that probably did not have such inclinations. Next thing you know, they'll start telling LIVING people that they're gay.

They're only trying to out him because he's dead.

I remember when the movie "A Beautiful Mind" about John Nash came out.

Political radical Gay and Lesbian groups criticized the movie for failing to mention that John Nash was gay.

When John Nash heard this, he was furious and immediately issued a statement that he is not nor never was gay.

Instead of apologizing, spokespeople for these groups simply responded, "We thought John Nash was dead"

I guess they don't want to make the same mistake again.

'Anyone not blinded by homophobia will recognize that the president who preserved our republic was gay.'

How can anyone disagree with such a reasonable statement? (/sarcasm)

Can't we find someone so void of morality, so blind to the truth, whose conscience is so seared, just like these people, who can write books about all the homosexual heroes being closet heterosexuals just mocking the gays?

Conservative historians?? How bout just plain old honest historians? The homophiles intend to claim nearly every great leader/scientist/inventor/writer/ was really a homosexual--the name of the game is normalize perversion.

Lazin said he has read 'The Intimate Life of Abraham Linclon'. 'As a gay man and an amateur historian, I find the evidence indisputable that the 16th President of the United States, Abe Lincoln, was a gay man.

Oh, yeah? Well, as a straight man and an amateur psychologist, I find the evidence indisputable that you're nuts.

This is old news. When I was in graduate school (1991), one of the radical feminist lesbo-American activists was awarded a Ph.D. in history for presenting a disseration that posited that Lincoln was a closet homosexual and child molestor who secretly murdered his son Willie.

Of course, she presented not one shred of primary source documentation, or any ancillary anectodal evidence in the form of personal journals and such. But the department chair -- himself a gay activist -- decided her position "felt" right, and the comittee awarded her a doctrate in history.

Last I heard, she was teaching at Cal Berkeley.

Let's assume for a moment that Lincoln was homosexual ( a big assumption). We also know from the way he lived, that he did not want this to be common knowledge. He married and fathered children, being the most obvious evidence.

Does the right of a person to maintain his privacy not take precedence over the desire of these people to bring this information forward?

Lincoln was a Christian, but maybe that's just because he suspected that Jesus was gay 150 years before leftist 'intellectuals' did.
