Mexican troops cross border for hurricane relief
WISTV.com ^ | September 8, 2005 | Bryce Mursch

The Mexican army has entered the United States for the first time since 1846.

A military convoy crossed the Rio Grande into Texas Thursday to bring aid to victims of Hurricane Katrina. The unit is headed for San Antonio.

The convoy is carrying water treatment plants, mobile kitchens and supplies to feed storm victims.

The 45 green vehicles will apparently be used to provide water, meals and other help for hurricane survivors from the New Orleans area.

A Mexican naval mission is sailing for New Orleans. Mexico says another convoy and another ship are ready to go.

Back in 1846, Mexican troops briefly marched into disputed territory along the border with Texas which had joined the US ten years earlier.

Yes, I was referring to the "unauthorized incursions".

They also enter for training. It happens often in Arizona.

"With 10,000-40,000 in Nuevo-Orleans alone - Mexican government has made a deal and is sending their "Navy" with a couple of ships."

"With food, etc - for "Mexican" victims - and also "Mexican" experts to help "Mexicans" Claims they made a deal with the US government - no arrests, prosecution, deportation of Mexican citizen "immigrant workers" now in the hurricane areas"

===============================

This is very disturbing. If anyone finds a good link for this info - please ping.

Welcome to the world of the "compassionate conservatism" of George W. Bush, the FIRST Mexican President. America is screwed.

The American people should be outraged.
***Typical ridiculous one percenter reaction.***

Uh... what's a "one percenter"?

(I have a strong suspicion your definition is different than mine.)

All the one percenters I've met ride Harleys, and I'm sure that they would be opposed to having the Mexican army in the US.

I believe (corrections welcomed!) that it was on one (1) FR thread yesterday

There are at least two (2) FR threads on this currently (I believe) today - Thursday 8th, 2005

I admit that I am not the best at searching out threads on FR

" Clearly someone has decided to exploit the situation."

Our government and our corporations are infested with globalists who see us as "resources" to be dealt with any way they see fit.

The link is no longer good, but this was e-mailed to me via a Google news alert.

San Jose Mercury News - MEXICO CITY - 9/3/2005 - The United States has agreed with a request from Mexico to not prosecute undocumented Mexican migrants affected by Hurricane Katrina...

At Ft. Huachuca? Davis-Monthan? Luke? South Tucson? The Rodeo Parade?(Just kidding).

I have never heard of or seen any Mexican Army units in Arizona for training. I have seen individuals there, but never a unit, never a truck or any thing else. Would love to hear details.

It's even working on Freepers. DOOM!!!

As I've posted on FR before, I own 25 acres in the TX Hill Country. A tenant who lived out there set a fire that went out of control. It was some illegals who were camped in the woods next to a spring on the property who took control of the situation, and put the fire out.

I didn't know they were living there. I go out there maybe once every three years. I pay my taxes on it. Much to the consternation of some of my fellow freepers, they seem to think I'm terrible because I don't care if they are out there living by my spring. If they kill all the javelinas that are out there, and cook them on a big spit, more power to them.

They haven't broken into the cabin out there. They have never used any of the electricity or well water, except the time they put out the fire. OOOhhh, I guess we're all doomed.

I see the problem with the illegal immigrants here as a failure by those with the power to enforce our borders.

"I'm not sure they really thought that out, we're still kinda sore about the whole Alamo thing here in Texas."

So are they ;) If the do a rematch hopefully it'll be on Pay-per-view.

---

I also hope it works out better for our side.

No problem. They have to aid and protect all the Mexican Nationals that have been living illegally in the New Orleans area.

I don't know if the entire units comes, but we get groups of half a dozen to a dozen come at a time going to various bases around Arizona and the US. Most are pilots or Navy.
