Did you actually intend to say something rational on this thread, or just attack posters you disagree with?

You people have got to be $hitting me!!!!
Well, I only advocating the decriminalization of marijuana, not the heavy stuff like heroin or cocaine. And the only reason I do so is because of the amount of money we spend trying to stop the production, sale, and use of the stuff.

People on this forum actually advocating the legalization of illegal drugs??? Legalizing the deadly addictive drug alcohol turned out to be a better option than criminalizing it; the same looks to be true for other drugs.

people face incarceration and death to sell it NOW, so I reckon some people would risk civil lawsuits were the crap legal to sell.

The lower the price, the less the incentive to steal (or push or hook).

Why? Because if the Government supplies the dope then they can control the votes of the dopers. Drug addiction is a form of chemically induced insanity.
As for alcoholics, only if they are Kennedys.

Drug addiction is a form of chemically induced insanity.
No less true for alcohol addiction. What do you propose to do about that?
As for alcoholics, only if they are Kennedys.
LOL! Now do you have a serious answer?

Wow a cop who gets it. You need the carrot and the stick if you want to get someone to submit to your morality willingly.

documented chromosomal and fetal development abberations associated with THC and other street drugs?Ever hear of fetal alcohol syndrome? Should all adults be barred from doing what's bad for unborn children when done by pregnant women?

"And where are street dopers going to get money to pay for their "cheaper" legal street drugs? Cash in food stamps?"Good point. It's not going to be free, is it? Like any other product, its producers will charge for it. I think I know what Stamper's answer to this will be -- we taxpayers will pay for it and it will be dispensed free of charge to those too "needy" to buy it themselves.
But let's suppose the distribution is left solely in private hands. Where will the "needy" obtain those drugs they can't afford? You guessed it. They will get them cheaper from criminal labs that don't jump through the FDA hoops required for purity and safety. They will get them cheaper from similarly unregulated foreign labs whose product is smuggled into the country and then sold on the streets. Or does Stamper propose that we also do away with all food and drug regulation for consumer safety?
