Why is everyone in that pic looking into the camera
but Pricilla is looking off into La-La Land?

If you notice what Taylor does in one part of each song he'll actually go off the melody and sing a harmony part which is a really cool thingI know. I love that about his singing and I always catch it. It's very nice!
It was especially wonderful last week, I thought.

Then, too, northerners are actually more intelligent and have better phone systems.
I hope no one takes me seriously in these posts...

I wish I had a pic for you of the Cingular guy trying to keep a straight face when I walked into the store and told him why I was buying a Go phone.

I love that about his singing and I always catch it. It's very nice!I've heard things from people that have seen his video performances with his band that say he is great! I believe someone made a comment about the crew of AI seeing Taylor perform with his band and they said he was holding back on the show each week.

Thanks for the report...exactly as I suspected. What a great guy. Glad to hear the home town rolled out the welcome mat for him.

Great post, and a great list of songs. I would however remove Elliott's "Teach Me Tonight" (sings his r's way to harshly in that song) in favor of Mandisa's "I Don't Hurt Anymore".
My husband hadn't been watching AI, so he didn't understand why we were so shocked when she was voted off. I went back and played that song. He was impressed. I just told him, "That night was magic!
I would add that now, he watches with me and our two daughters just so he can participate in conversations about the show.

I don't know how long Elliott has had his insulin pump, but patients' go through extensive questioning and counseling from a certified diabetes educator before they get one.
I have worked for an endocrinologist for 7 years, and not everyone is suitable for a pump. Since Elliott has been a diabetic since high school, I think we can rest assured that he is on top of when he needs to eat, and when he needs more insulin. He has chosen the method of blood sugar control that works best for him as a responsible 27 year old.
As I have seen with our patients, the teen years are the most difficult to get them to take diabetes seriously. Most teen-agers think they are immortal, or that their condition will just go away. I think Elliott is past this point.

Do you think Tuesday's AI is going to be boring now?

From posts on the AI site, dail idol did have a wrong number for Chris for the first 30 minutes. But dialidol just measures busy signals for predictions. It's goof would have no effect on the actual results.
I wish it would have though, because I would love to have him back. But, it is what it is! Ya think if Rebecca Romijn requests a song from Chris they'll bring him back to sing?

I had a lot of trouble the first hour, but I usually do. The second hour I had more luck, especially with the second line.
The numbers had been posted on the AI message board, and assuming this person was interpreting correctly, it looks like he was ousted by 400 to 500 votes. Makes me sad.
The others all seem real nice! I just find them boring!

This may just be another rumor, but there were also alot of posts about people not getting confirmations that their text messages were recieved that night....quite a few! They didn't know if their votes were counted or not. There is still quite the uproar over on the AI site. A lot of them feel that AI is calling them liars, when they say "user error".
Good news is that it's selling out Absent Element CD's insanely.
Ultimately, I want things to work out for him and his family. I think they will.

What was going on with Priscilla's jacket? Bad tailor, or rough night?

"A catholic school girl outfit with white knee high socks wins her the night"Or even navy colored knee socks.
Not that I'm going there, mind you.

"What was going on with Priscilla's jacket? Bad tailor, or rough night?"I was thinking third trimester, until I realized she is 62.

My husband thought she looked pregnant too.
