MANSFIELD, Ohio — The deadly mix of drugs that has killed addicts in Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia has reached Ohio.

Mansfield police have identified the powerful prescription painkiller fentanyl in six of the last 10 batches of heroin confiscated by police.

Mansfield police laboratory director Anthony Tambasco said he decided to start looking for fentanyl after hearing about the deaths in Detroit just before Memorial Day. Authorities there have confirmed 100 fentanyl/heroin deaths. Another 60 were confirmed in the Chicago area.

"It’s not something you normally look for," Tambasco said.

You have been beating that victim drum, claiming that you've been lied about, abused, that you've been called everything except a white man, and the fact is, numbers don't lie: as pointed out by another poster, 490 of your 500-odd posts are focused solely upon the rights of dopers and the criminal subculture that feeds them. Posters far smarter than I (thinking Robert Paulsen here) have shredded your abysmal assertions from A to Z. My "offense" (if there was one) was to poke some good natured fun at you due to your answering posts a week or more later, and I laughingly suggested that it could be because you were in some sort of haze from indulging in the substances for which you fight so hard for the "right" to use without restriction. You of course, couldn't see the humor in that and proceeded to pompously talk about how you "put family first", before FR, blah-blah-blah, suggesting that I, mere mortal that I am, either didn't have a family, didn't care about my family, or had my priorities all screwed up.

I made a comment to another poster in that same vein, suggesting that they might not hear back from you for a week, and just like a Whack-A-Mole, up you popped to shriek that I was "lying" about you, didn't have the "spine" to ping you, wah-wah-wah, ad nauseum - and this only leads me to conclude that if other posters (and presumably, people outside of FR) don't take your 'Total Drug Freedom' philosophy as deadly serious as you do, then they must surely be (in your mind) "lying about you" or "abusing you".

So I reiterate once more, with gusto:

Heroin addicts are dying by the bushel. If there is a downside to this, I haven't seen it yet.

more police forces out trying to "get the stuff off the streets" to save the heroine junkies, because it could "hurt the children." this is the kind of thing that LEAs and politicians use to back up their cries of "we must win this war on drugs."
