I think it is abundantly clear from this thread that not everyone labels Mary CHeney's life as a perversion. Nor immoral.

You may see it that way but fortunately you don't determine what others see.

At least her child will have her sister's husband and her dad and hopefully other male role models. Dobson outlined nicely again on Larry King the other night the developmental issues of children who become gay. It can happen in any family. Raising kids is a grueling, time consuming job. Nobody does a perfect job.

Mary Cheney is not a pervert if you redefine the English language to exclude what has historically defined as perversion from the definition. Lesbianism is not immoral if you choose to reject the definition of morality as taught by traditional Judaism and orthodox Christianity, not to mention many other religions not based on the Bible.

Redefining language is a technique of the Left, refined and emphasized by the so-called Frankfurt School of Marxist theorists that originated in Weimar Germany. Many of these theorists emigrated to the United States in the 1930s and 1940s. Some of the more prominent members of this school included Herbert Marcuse, Hannah Arendt, and Theodor Adorno, professors and authors who had a profound influence on college campuses in the 1960s and beyond. They were philosophical progenitors of the New Left and the hippie movement, the legacies of which are "political correctness" and the sexual revolution, among other items.

Those who approve of sexual perversion and would redefine language and morality are working against the preservation of our nation and its heritage. What is the point of defeating Muslim extremists or lessening government regulations and lowering taxes that restrict economic growth if our society becomes so obsessed with self-gratification and immoral behavior that our nation becomes an intolerable place for people who hold to traditional, Biblical morality?

If America keeps going in this direction, I say bring on the Hispanics and the Asians. Maybe they can establish a more decent society than the whites have.
