The Candidate (Rudy Giuliani in NH)
The American Spectator ^ | 1/29/2007 | Philip Klein

Posted on 01/29/2007 1:36:27 PM PST by Dark Skies

Many skeptics continue to question whether Rudy Giuliani is serious about making a run for the White House, but it was abundantly clear on Saturday that he had come to Manchester for more than the sub-freezing temperatures.

Addressing over 500 activists at the New Hampshire Republican Party's annual meeting as part of a two-day swing through the state, Giuliani sketched the broad outlines of what looks like a presidential run. Sounding at times like a motivational speaker, Giuliani cautioned against cynicism and pessimism in the wake of November's election results and challenges in the ongoing War on Terror. The message especially resonated with the audience in this critical primary state, where the Republican Party just lost control of both chambers of the legislature for the first time since the 1870s.

"The best way we remain safe and we retain our freedom...is remaining on offense, remaining strong and not becoming weak in a time of pressure," Giuliani said in a line that drew the biggest applause from the crowd at the Palace Theater.

So...

WHAT on Spiff's table do you dispute?

Even RINO-rudy isn't disputing most of his liberal positions, he is merely ignoring the questions and trying to highlight the pitifully FEW conservative positions he does have.

The National Abortion Rights Action League had Rudy address their "Champions of Choice" luncheon in 2001.

I'm sorry, but it's begging to be asked... Did he wear a dress?

"f you look at all the posts the behavior is certainly indicative that membership in such an organization would be possible."

Uh...the KKK stormed onto black people's houses in the middle of the night and dragged them out, screaming, to a tree where they then murdered them.

I don't see ANYONE here who resembles that, AT ALL!

Good question, but I think NARAL is more of a pants crowd, if you know what I mean.

Just because he is the founder doesn't mean he is always right or we can't have our own opinions.

Cheap price to be a US Citizen.

Yeah, that picture reminds me that our former commander-in-briefs, bill clinton emboldened and enabled the enemy that later attacked us on 9/11 by his INACTION and LIBERAL POLICIES.

I'm also reminded that RINO-rudy has supported clinton and said something to the effect that he and clinton's views were not much different.

Now THAT'S a RINGING ENDORSEMENT for RINO-rudy, isn't it?

Last I knew it has been required for citizenship for far longer than I have been alive.

Ole Rudy really went out on a limb endorsing things that are already law...lol.

Well, actually, we must shun RINOs WHEREVER they live, whether it be their usual haunts in the northeast, or on the left coast, or in the mid-west, etc.

I totally agree with your post #788. If Jim doesn't want us to post threads about Rudy or comment about him, he should let us know.

I know what I am – I am a conservative, who grew up in a 100% conservative family that knows what tyrants can really do to your life and the lives of your loved ones. I wish we would have a strong, credible conservative candidate throw his hat in the ring... it would make my life and the lives of everyone so much easier, and we would be united in fighting the liberals instead of fighting each other. However, as good as the candidates are, none of the them are as attractive to the electorate as much as Rudy, imperfections and all.

Anyway, this is Jim's site so, he should let us know if we are allowed to post Rudy threads and comment on them, because I can see the bullies intent on insulting Rudy supporters every time we express our opinion. No one should be bullied by a barrage of name calling and insults.

I don't like to be called “abortionist, gun-grabbing” – nothing could be further from the truth, and if they now think they have a license to break FR rules, then we need to know that as well.

Back later. :-)

I was talking about Rudy picking strict constructionist judges. However, while Rudy isn't perfect on immigration he seems better than the President.
