Rudy Giuliani Throws Hat Into 2008 Presidential Ring
Post Chronicle ^ | 2/1/07

According to a source close to The Giuliani campaign, Rudy Giuliani is throwing his hat into the ring.  The Hinzsight Report confirms, through a source close to the Giuliani campaign, that he is presently sending people out into all 50 states to secure his name on the primary ballots.

"Despite Mayor Giuliani's public cautiousness, this is evidence that he is seriously pursuing the Presidency in 2008, and he should be taken very seriously.

Critical state polls have shown Mayor Giuliani leading the pack, and it's about time that he start being considered what he is--the front-runner" a source tells The Hinzsight Report.

Giuliani has lined up nearly 300 key Republican supporters in New Jersey for his bid for the 2008 presidential nomination, his campaign announced this week.

In a recent Quinnipiac University poll of New Jersey voters, it showed Giuliani leading all Republican presidential candidates and ahead of Sen. Hillary Clinton, the leading Democratic contender, in a head-to-head matchup.

The New Jersey primary, which is currently set for Feb. 26, is likely to move up to Feb. 5, placing it early in the campaign season and increasing its significance.  As many as 15 states could hold their Republican presidential primaries Feb. 5, reports Gannett.

No; because without defeating the terrosts what you HAVE won't matter.

A disarmed society would not be worth defending from "the terrorists".

Right now, i'm listening to an interview of Dick Morris. He's claiming Hillary is a European Socialist - on the order of Schroeder or Villipan. A fair asseseement.

If Rudy is nominated, let's stay at home and make SURE a European Socialist is President. Because Jesus isn't running. /s/

It makes them feel real good when they ''GOTCHA'.

I think it's pure distraction.

When you don't have a response, then change the subject. That's ok, I don't mind repeating the question!

Excellent post!

One thing to consider. Even though the Feds license the airlines, it should be the choice of private businesses to make their own internal rules about firearms. Maybe someone can create a carrier that allows just CCP passengers only.

I've never seen any mention of Rudy serving in any branch of the military. Am I wrong? I'm going to be really embarrassed if so.

He was attending NYU School of Law to become a lawyer at the time. After graduation in 1970 he got a federal government lawyer job. He was the perfect age to serve. He wasn't even 30 yet when the U.S. withdrew in 1973. You may be on to something. I haven't heard how he avoided service in Vietnam either nor whether he supported or opposed the war at that time. Hmmmm....

Well if Giuliani never served in the military then I'm just going to have to automatically support someone who did -- like John Kerry /sarcasm off

That is a bogus issue.

So you immediately assume and spread the rumor that he AVOIDED military service?

We have a difference of opinion. IMO, welfare, crime and child support, along with the adoption issue are social issues. They might also fall into the catagory of fiscal issues as it relates to govt spending.

The CWA was a governing document that was released about six weeks before the 94 election. For those voters paying attention, it did make a difference. The difference between the 54 seat pickup, and some lesser figure.

I could say going third party assures the dems of a win, and I know you believe by voting for Rudy I would be doing the same... at some point we are all going to have compromise in order to insure that doesnt happen.

New Fox News Poll;

For what it's worth, my boss was at a healthcare convention in Phoenix last week and heard Rudy speak.

He said Rudy was the most charismatic speaker he's heard since Bill Clinton. He got to the crowd, really connected with them when talking about his experiences.

I guess Dick Cheney wouldn't be acceptable as a candidate either because he didn't serve in the military. Or Abe Lincoln, for that matter.
