I've never posted a straight Vanity before.
But I am sick and tired of this good conservative, generally religious site being overrun by people posting "I'd hit it", whenever a picture of a good-looking girl is displayed.
It's demeaning, it's immoral, and I guess I'm just a prude but announcing to the world that you'd like to have sex with a woman based on her picture, like she was some object, hardly seems like the appropriate attitude on a conservative political site.
But rather than post in response to any particular person, I figured I'd just vent here where everybody could see and make fun of me.
So go ahead. I thank you for whatever indulgence you have given me in this rant.

Depends upon your definition of "hit" and "it".
I agree with you—with ONE exception. When it’s used as humor to demean someone’s low morals—as it is when used with pictures of Bill Clinton (non-existent morals)—it is very appropriate. But then again,,,when used in that context—it’s not humor-—it’s a fact...lol
Quit being a stick in the mud. It’s called satire. It’s meant to indicate that many of us are exasperated by the fact that the networks only hire lipstick porn queens to be talking heads. Ever hear the term “info babe”???? To the networks, Lip Gloss + short skirts + nice legs + blond hair= news anchor. None of them ever seem to have an original thought

I’m sorry to agree with you but it’s sadly true. Our local top news station (which is hardly a compliment) has a blonde co-anchor. She’s very cute, to be sure, but she showed her wishywashy colors when she headlined the PBA decision story as being a decision about ‘a controversial late-term abortion procedure’. Talk about being mealy mouthed. I wish the co-anchor had been on camera, I’d bet his eyes were rolling, his head shaking in quiet disbelief.
But then this is a woman they can send to Durham and Chapel Hill for on-sites. I’m not sure you can call it PBA there without causing a riot.

I think I always knew I was uncomfortable with how far the "I'd hit it" stuff was going (I laughed when it was a rare statement), but an "I'd hit it" commandment really was pushing it into my face a little too much.
Personally, I like the one with the baby seal.

So when you look at women, you don’t immediately know, deep down, whether or not you’d like to have sex with them?
At least we are honest.
Also, I would add, its not an actual “I’d hit it”. Most of us are married and wouldn’t hit it. It’s more of a hypothetical would you hit it.
On the other hand, given the object of my vanity, there are some who might question my characterization of this vanity as “straight”.
