Any half-way decent boat yard machinist could have told him to use a
GLAND NUT.It is the way one packs the shaft that goes through the stuffing box. Tough to give these Third World Clymers new pointers before they swing into action, though. I hope the rest of you make sure the gland nut is tight enough against the stuffing box collar and packing before you get the bottom wet. Not too tight ... one drop every 2-3 seconds.

Wasn’t there a House MD.....Greatest job of Lip-Synching I have ever seen. The star of the show's voice is absolutely nothing like that. It's weird. A lip-synched show? What could possibly be next ... a worthy oriental gentleman slipping a nut over the unit?

I have a friend that works in the OR. They had to remove a light bulb from where the sun don't shine out of this guy. The surgeon took the bulb to a lamp to see if it still worked.
Once they had to remove a zucchini. The next day the surgeon came in with a zucinni salad.
