Berg supplied affidavits and transcripts of an interview with her to the Supreme Court where she claimed this

He supplied something, I'm not sure it was affidavits or not, but the lower court threw it out. He also supplied loose allegations of forgery written by Polarik so I suspect that Berg doesn't lacks judgment when sorting out evidence.

Although he may have been required to register, how would his failure to register preclude him from being president?

Yes, there is wording in the law that failure to properly register makes one ineligible for federal employment. I don't know if that applies to elected officials.

If I had access to about a dozen blank short COLB forms and a raised seal stamper, I could probably whip up just about the same things as FactCheck has photographed. Just need some photoshop and a little time; the content can be whatever random crap suits you

I agree completely. But if you elaborate further on where you would obtain those items, I would point out the trail of evidence you would leave behind. Granted that evidence (e.g. your purchase of the stamper in a back alley in Honolulu) might not surface for years.

The title of this post is very exaggerated.

The problem lies in the fact that Hawaii had a loophole that most states do not have- they may be the only state that had it. Sheesh, I hope you at least know about that if you are going to start a thread about it.

I don’t disagree with you. My point to palmer was that the Certificate of live birth was required for me to obtain my passport. The document issued by the hospital is not a state document and is not a citizenship document. It simply states that I was born in X hospital on this day, to these parents, by this physician.

When I went to get a passport, I had to go back to the municipality and obtain this document, as the hospital issued document was not an official state document.

Free Republic becoming a conspiracy site?

From Free Republic’s front page on Dec 15, 1996 via the WayBackMachine:

“On these pages we hope to bring you news of the nation not only from the mainstream media, but also from lesser known sources - small papers, newsletters, talk shows, government publications, online websites, and gasp, even from conspiracy theorists (sometimes there really are fires beneath all that smoke).”

You are either an O-Bot or you are not too swift.
Pay attention:

Factcheck is useless. It is run by Annenberg and Obama cronies.

A COLB proves nothing - Zero, ZIP, ******* Nothing - got it.

The COLB was a forgery. Look it up.

Why show the public a shoddy forgery of a COLB? Maybe you are hiding something like maybe you were born in Kenya.

And no it is not adequate in most circumstances. People taking their kids to Little League need a real birth cerificate. A forged COLB won’t cut it.

The evidence that Obama is hiding something is as overwhelming as the number of vanity posts that don’t offer any new news on the subject.

17 cases in 12 states including now Alan Keyes in CA.
It’s before the Supreme Court.
Hopefully, they will settle this soon, or you can count on seeing plenty more suits related to this issue from now until kingdom come.

Also, never seen an issue the moderators cannot handle.

I'm just holding him to the same high standards he expects others to adhere to.

Let me also say that I remain distressed that the White House during this confirmation process, which overall went smoothly, failed to provide critical documents as part of the record that could have provided us with a better basis to make our judgment with respect to the nomination. This White House continues to stymie efforts on the part of the Senate to do its job. I hope with the next nominee who comes up for the Supreme Court that the White House recognizes that in fact it is its duty not just to the Senate but to the American people to make sure we can thoroughly and adequately evaluate the record of every single nominee who comes before us.

I am not familiar with what Alan Keyes did. Was there any indication that he was planning on running for President or did it all come about after the birth certificate issue came into play?

You hit the nail on the head. Obama can quash all of this, put the matter to rest, and make us all look like tin-foil-hat conspiracy nuts very quickly and simply by producing a birth certificate. The fact that he has not done this, when there is every advantage for him to do it, is very suspicious.

And the alleged selective service forgery just adds more weight to the matter.

Is it just me or does that certificate number look completely bogus?

It uses the same font as other printed numbers, but larger and bolded.

Most states don't allow you to get a state birth certificate when you are born in a foreign country. It is not unreasonable to believe that Obama may have the same type of birth certificate as his sister who was not born in America.

Most people aren't adopted by a foreigner and have citizenship in two other countries. It is not unreasonable to have a candidate for the highest office show his birth certificate and prove he is eligible. Some of us needed to show a birth certificate for much less important jobs.

We still have free speech - right?

I mean at least until late January unless America refuses to be duped by forged COLBs.

The real problem is that I'm as sure as I can be that the SCOTUS won't overturn this election. The dems have got us in a damned if we do, damned if we don't situation. They break the rules so we have to take it to court and then we get blamed for bringing in the court.

SCOTUS was weasley in 2000 and after the response to that they'll be even more hesitant.

Your scholarship is fine......but your understanding of human nature is quite flawed. Take it from one who has made his living from observing human nature for decades.

If someone is hiding something, it’s simply because he/she has something to hide.

Don’t ignore the obvious in your pursuit of the truth. Obama has seen to it that his birth records are sealed through court order.

Now, I only ask.....just ask yourself........why.
