There is a social dynamic there that is grossly underexplored. In Great Britain at the moment a 300-lb drugged-up hooligan can break down any door he likes and take whatever he wants, secure in the knowledge that the justice system is more likely to make excuses for him than prosecute him. In the United States a 12-year-old girl can blow his sorry butt back out the door with Daddy's shotgun.

That is God's own truth. When the do-gooders confiscate all the privately-owned firearms in the name of "protecting" the innocent and the weak from the depredations of the criminal, the only people who end up getting better protection are the criminals themselves. It is no small wonder why the Colt .45 was called the Great Equalizer, because it put the smallest and the weakest on a par with the strongest. When gun-control freaks get their way, the poor and the weak don't benefit, they suffer, but then again, being poor and weak they have no real political voice, so the gun-control freaks can walk all over them in their desire to tell everyone else that they cannot have a gun.

As Obama is doing just as he said, he’s forming a well armed ( in his words “just as well armed) personal citizen force of no doubt thugs. I suspect that they are being prepared, trained and armed right now very quietly.

How is something of that scope kept quiet? Are we seeing ads for recruiting in the leftist's magazines or newspapers, on their TV outlets, Twitter or Facebook, etc?

If we do identify the training facilities and the trainees, when is the appropriate time for them to start having "accidents"? Barracks fires, munitions explosions in their armories, no brakes in their vehicles, poison in their food sources or unexplained disappearances might convince most of them to make other career choices. But some of US have to be positioned to attack from the inside.

And, when is the appropriate time for these "invited" invaders to start suffering casualties? At the pier of the airport would be my choice! But I'm sure that such an invasion will be unannounced.

The Jews of the Warsaw ghetto held the entire mechanized Nazi army at bay with small arms like hand guns. You can do quite a lot with hand guns. There were partisan groups of Jews in Russia with small arms that caused huge trouble for the the Nazis also.
