People Need To STOP Bashing Sarah Palin Over McCain

Posted on 03/26/2010 8:44:09 AM PDT by wk4bush2004

So yeah, I'm getting sick and tired of how people are bashing Sarah Palin over her endorsement of McCain.

We all know why she's doing it and she has my complete respect and support.

So, anyway, conservatives are fighting amongst each other over this and it really is pathetic! On Sarah's Facebook page, people keep lamenting, whining and moaning over it, and I kept calmly trying to calm them down, but they wouldn't listen. Finally, I lost it and said:

"FOR GOD'S SAKE, PEOPLE, PULL YOURSELVES TOGETHER!!!!! THIS IS NOT HOW A GROUP OF PATRIOTS ACTS!!!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY, DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO BE 100% PERFECT IN YOUR EYES IN ORDER FOR THEM TO BE A VIABLE CANDIDATE???? LAST TIME I CHECKED, NO ONE IS!

SARAH PALIN IS THE BEST CHANCE WE HAVE TO UNSEAT OBAMA AND HIS FASCIST REGIME AND YOU'RE ALL HERE TOO BUSY ARGUING ABOUT ONE ENDORSEMENT!!!!!!!! THAT IS PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!

WE HAVE TO BE 100% UNITED IN ORDER TO DEFEAT THE SOCIALISTS!!!!!!! STOP GETTING INTO STUPID PETTY FIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SARAH ENDORSED MCCAIN! OK, DONE, NEXT ISSUE, PLEASE!!!!!!!"

I'm no military guy, but I do know that in a battle, you need to have a UNITED FRONT and petty arguments like this are dividing the front!

It is obvious that Sarah Palin is the only one who can defeat Obama and that we need to be united around her!

Shouldn’t you have included a picture of a fiercely defensive cat with that comment?

“We expect candidates to be loyal to the party. In return, unless the candidate is as far to the left as Scozzafava, or corrupt like Mark Foley, we need to be loyal to the candidate.”

You just sealed the argument against McCain. He’s never been ‘loyal’ to the party or anything except his own interests. He’s to the left and more corrupt than you’ll ever admit. The question is, does Sarah know how corrupt he is?

Indians, Lobbyists and Arizona Politics...OH MY!

No, no, no! Can’t you understand, McCain’s at 96% this year only to get re-elected? Then he’s right back to leadership on cap and trade, campaign finance, amnesty, etc.. Hayworth had it right: Graham is McCain’s proxy this year on the type of issues McCain himself is chomping at the bit to have a fresh six years to undermine conservatism with.

You are absolutely correct. It has been explained a million times why she is keeping her promise to campaign for him.

Ironically, the people who are trashing Sarah Palin (who is our only hope of saving the Republic) for keeping a promise, are behaving just like the quisling McCain who deliberately threw the presidential race to the commie muslim Kenyan.

The attacks against Sarah Palin on this forum are mostly organized and coordinated by two principle groups:

1)Romneyites who are trying to clear the way for their beloved Mitt.

2) Ron Paul supporters who are enraged that she has rejected the Third Party approach and remains loyal to McCain. (We actually caught some of these cretins organizing their FR attacks over on the Ron Paul forums, resulting in the banning of a prominent Paul supporter) These individuals have been the most relentless and obnoxious lately.

There are also attacks coming from RINO GOP operatives tryng separate Sarah from her supporters as part of a deliberate campaign to bury her once and for all within the GOP. They often operate in conjunction with Romneyites.

Likewise, lib trolls (especially “concern” trolls) remain active and have been ever since 2008. And finally, there are outright misogynists who believe that women have NO place in politics and should just stay home, take care of the kids, and shut up. One such individual on this board told me so, using these exact words, about a month ago. They usually give themselves away by variously describing Sarah as a bimbo, a broad, a caribou-barbie, etc.

That’s who we’re dealing with here.

all emotions aside we have to deal with facts:

1. McCain is a RINO. No matter what he might have been in his political past, McCain is supportive of left wing issues.

2. No matter how you slice it, Palin has made a political choice. If/When McCain is defeated her endorsement will be used by the MSM to attack her as losing gravitas.

3. NOTHING Palin says can change number 1. Just like 2008, Palin has crowds but she has no coat tails on the primary.

Bottom line:

McCain needs to go period. Palin is not relavent in this primary. Just get out the defeat McCain vote.

“McCain is actually becoming even more conservative.”

I don’t think so. He seems to be conservative only when there’s an upcoming election. The day after he’ll be cutting deals with the Dems and selling us out once again.

Nail + Head= You hit it.

I need to send you a couple of links. The Paul camp has called Palin their #1 enemy and Lew Rockwell said she is the biggest threat to Paul running in 2012 and must be ‘taken down’.

There’s nothing petty about supporting domestic enemies of the United States Constitution. And doing so puts you way, way, way below “100% perfect.”

Are they seriously wanting to push Ron Paul again??? He’s older than McCain! I can’t believe Paul is dumb enough to run again. I think it’s some of his misguided supporters pushing this. But then, Palin hasn’t said she’s running, either, has she?

We can have either a majority in Congress, or ideological purity. We can’t have both.

So you've already conceded utter defeat for conservatism... we will be ruled by a gang of leftists, the only question being how many of them have an 'R' next to their names rather than a 'D.' Pardon me if I fail to get excited by this prospect.

mccain represents the problems with the GOP today.

talk conservative to fool the rubes in primaries and elections, but vote leftist when it comes to amnesty, gov spending, marriage etc.
(see vanity fair interview)

McCain must go. Palin is not a resident. It is fun to see her as an opening act but if people REALLY want to send a message.

Go to see palin, then leave before mccain speaks.

I like Sarah, she understands energy (oil & nat gas) which is the only thing we have to pay down the deabt and create wealth.

She needs to get away from McCain - NOW. This is far too serious. MCCain is Obama. McCain Feingold gave Obama and the Dems power.

We all know why she's doing it and she has my complete respect and support.

We all know why she is doing it? You might want to conduct a survey or something - because I really don't know. But my heart tells me it is because she has misplaced loyalties and that her conservative facade may be just that - a facade.

I just don't trust anyone who would have the unwavering support for Juan McCain Sarah apparently has.

Can you detail how the GOP is going to gain 97 Electoral College votes in 2012 with Palin at the hem or any other for that matter. If Palin is the savior then undoubtedly there is a working model of how the change is going to take place. Please give us a explaination.

Assume the GOP retains all 22 states it won in 2008 which of the 28 states plus DC that the democrats won will and can be converted to the GOP so that the GOP can gain necessary 97 EC votes.

Here’s a map showing the states and how they voted in 2008: http://www.npr.org/news/specials/election2008/2008-election-map.html#/president?view=race08
