Is it time for a Honduran type response to Obama? I say YES
Canada Free Press ^ | April 13, 2010 | Dr. Laurie Roth

Media, US Politicians and Military leaders, it is time to stop playing around and to stand up for our law, constitution and the American people. Must we all move to Honduras to be represented and protected? It is most evident that there is a usurper in the White House and it certainly has nothing to do with his color and everything to do with what appears to be endless lies and cover up as to his birth place and past.

Obama knows that he is covering up major ‘President stopping’ stuff in his life. Why else would he spend nearly 2 million dollars in legal fees to cover all his college records, passport and birth certificate records? Something is rotten and festering and the nation knows it. HOW COME MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, MAJOR MEDIA AND OUR LEADERS DON’T KNOW IT OR WORSE, DO KNOW IT AND STILL WON’T DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?

Remember not that long ago the world watched as then President Manual Zelaya attempted to break the law and constitution of the Honduran people, manipulating the election with massive fraud and cover up so he could stay in power. He was very good buddies with Chavez (as Obama is) who pulled the same thing and has a dictatorship of power in Venezuela. The Supreme Court and Government were 1000% right to arrest and kick him out of power immediately. He was planning to turn their thriving democracy into a dictatorship and they wouldn’t have it. My hat is off to the Honduran people!

Immediately we saw Obama and Hillary stand boldly behind Zelaya and demand his return to power. Never mind, Zelaya was completely in error and violating his people and law. It was one of the many moments of shame I have felt with our President.(continued)

Its not just the birth certificate, or foreign father anymore why this man needs removed from office ASAP.

He’s now committing high treason planning to release the details of the size of our nuclear arsenal.

If he were a REPUBLICAN the impeachment proceedings would have started already!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We can’t wait until November - not anymore.

Military...ARE YOU LISTENING!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!?

And people who think what happened in Honduras is what is happening here either don't understand what happened in Honduras, or are simply hysterical. Or both.

I admit to getting hysterical. I've been hysterical ever since I read that Washington Post story this morning that Obama plans to give away the size of our nuclear arsenal. High treason and nobody doing a darn thing about it makes ME HYSTERICAL!!!!

You wanna get angry at someone?...blame Republicans for the mess we are in.

I was a Bush supporter, but to this day, for the life of me, cannot understand why there wasn't a much more vigorous defense by his administration against the daily attacks from the democrat party hacks.

And McCain ran possibly the worst campaign I have ever witnessed in my life. He did more to demoralize the conservative base than Axlerod could ever dream of.

And don't forget to blame all the republican voter purists who refused to vote for a RINO, stayed home, and helped elect all the down ticket democrats.

My hope, my dream is that at a minimum, in 2010, we take back one chamber so we can be in charge of all the committees and start investigating some of this crap.

I WANT RELENTLESS ANTAGONISM TOWARD THIS ADMINISTRATION FROM CONGRESS!!

The Honduran military is authorized and charged to do what they did. Our Constution contains no such provision.. well maybe not. The constitution does require that:

...all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution;

The military makes a Big Deal of that oath. For most of the others, its perfunctory at best.

I'm for removing him but doing so strictly with a military coup is NOT the constitutional avenue. The Hondurans were following a constitutional ruling from their supreme court and until we get one I'm afraid we just have to keep battling the propaganda war. I repeat:

THERE IS NO CONSTITUTIONAL BASIS FOR A MILITARY COUP IN THE USA WITHOUT A CONSTITUIONAL RULING FROM THE SUPREME COURT OR LEGAL ACTION FROM THE US CONGRESS

we remove someone just because we suspect him of something?

Good grief...you just wanna skip the pesky judicial system?

If they take a pass, they can hardly be said to have been skipped.

The military has it's own judicial system, which ties into the "regular" system at the appeals court level. Being removed, temporarily at least, is what happens to everyone else when they are charged. Lt. Col. Larkin is a case in point. he's not seeing patients these days, is he?

In the civilian system, one may be incarcerated on charges, subject to bail. But if you are in a sensitive position, like a cop or a nurse, you'll be assigned to other duties until the case is resolved.

That does not say that such a case can't arise in the military justice system, does it?

I'm sorry, But I fail to see how cutting deployed strategic warheads the US or Russia can deploy from 2200 to 1550 leaves us defenseless or constitutes treason. That's a lot of nuclear warheads and is actually consistent with the Bush Administration's goals and actions.

If you can’t see that letting our enemies know HOW MUCH WE HAVE IN OUR ARSENAL is treason - you are as blind as a bat, and its no wonder the GOP is as bad as the Dems.

Who needs spies and intelligence services when Obama is giving it away?????

No, only pharmaceuticals I keep around are over the counter types like ibuprofen. Prayer is the best medicine for hysteria and I have an unlimited supply!

Uh... They already knew that.

They've known it pretty much since the 1970s when arms control negotiations started. Representatives from the US and Russia have each visited each others sites to verify dismantlement of weapons already committed to in previous arms control treaties since at least the 1990s. I can buy publicly available textbooks that list the weapons systems of each.

Honestly, there is nothing new there. If we're going to start endorsing military coups, could we at least not do it over stuff George W. Bush was perfectly okay with. Actually, this is even stuff the military participates in and is also perfectly okay with.

<><><><<

From your posts on this thread, should we assume that what you have an unlimited supply of is hysteria?

Your comments seems to be made almost as though you’ve never heard of the various agreements the US has made over the past 30 some years on the size of our nuclear arsenal, which has been subject to onsite verification.

The upper limits on each kind of device are explicitly stated. LOL, they’re right here on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_START

Based on your comments, we would have needed to impeach every prez since Johnson (yes, Reagan, too) for this type of treason.

With this thread, FR has descended into depths that I never thought possible.

This place is getting overrun by paranoid conspiracy nuts who are prepared to betray the constitution.

I am sickened. Just sickened.
