I thought Angle might pull it off. But even Nevada isn't that blindly conservative I guess.

What about all of the Tea Party people who also voted for the establishment GOP candidates today at the polls?

I think in the senate, you might be right. It wasn’t a great night for the tea party.

Although how can anyone really complain about 6-8 pickups? I never thought we we going to win the senate, we had to have drawn the inside straight.

But the house, governorship, state houses, is another story.
Overall it was still a great night for the tea party.

That is absurd. We have a massively more conservative Senate than I have seen in my lifetime, a huge house majority and governor wins throughout the country. We knocked out feingold with a guy who never ran for anything in his life. This was almost entirely due to the grassroots movement.

More inane and insane babbling from an establishment Republican.

Your win would be nowhere as close as it is without the Tea Partiers.

What a loser!

The Tea Party won big. Every liberal douchebag Republican they got rid of needed getting rid of.

The wins in the general were all gravy.

And any Republican who wants to get all limp in the face of the coming challenges can hear the Tea Party sharpening the shivs for them too.

Ghey.

This is the first time since Jesus was a baby that Dems will have less than 200 congressman.

This is the best overall midterms in half a century.

Even with such tailwinds you can’t win them all.

When someone can’t correctly use “then” and “than”, I don’t think I need to give their opinion much weight.

You’d probably complain if you got your head cut off with a golden ax.

The Tea Party is just getting started. Things are going to get bigger and better from here. This is where America begins changing course back to the Founder’s vision.

If you don’t appreciate the tea party then I’d appreciate you just taking a freaking hike. We have not yet begun to fight!

Those who wave the surrender flag just as we engage the enemy are worthless. In fact less than worthless!! Freaking cowards!!

Lead, follow or get the hell out of the way!!

Sorry, did you not read? O’Donnell did not lose to the Democrats, she lost to the Republicans. Had the sore losers voted for substance instead of voting out of spite, she would not have ended up with more independent votes than Republican votes. Put the blame where it belongs.

I would posit that your blame game is misdirected.

The electorate is the primary culprit in this and practically all elections. Our society is overflowing with takers who almost, if not already, outnumber the producers, and that spells eventual doom for our society as nothing will reverse that trend outside of unprecedented bloodshed via a civil war, IMO.

In any case, the Tea Party is currently the only hope at the ballot box, IMO.

Paladino beat Rick Lazio in the primary. Rick Lazio was the best NY republicans could come up with. (?) Lazio would have done no better, maybe worse than Paladino.
