I thought Angle might pull it off. But even Nevada isn't that blindly conservative I guess.

What have you been smoking? Do you have any idea HOW MANY tea party candidates won today all across the country inb senate, congress, governor AND local elections? What in the hell do people like you want?

Not saying the Tea Party is useless, I don't think it is at all. But dialing down the fantasy it will hereafter control the political dialogue and set the agenda may be a good idea.

Sorry, not sure what campaign and election you were watching but it's no fantasy - the Tea Party did control the political dialog and set the agenda in these elections: fiscal discipline in government and the rollback of government over-reach. These are issues that the mainstream GOP has no credibility on anymore.

The real lesson in this election was that candidates who ran on the Tea Party's agenda needed to have the credentials to be able to stick to that agenda and not get sidetracked by extraneous personal issues.

Rinos in Nevada helped Reid, Rinos in Alaska helped Murk, and Rinos helped Coons.

This is the year that Rinos were exposed for what they are, and that is a good thing.

We all know now that the Republican Party’s love affair with Rinos is OVER!

Thanks to the Tea Party.

We have a Republican governor in Ohio going into the 2012 presidential elections... that means a lot.

not quite *sniff*, but *something* isn't quite right.

The fail is strong with this one.

It is a sin to willfully not use the your God given analytical facilities for the truth, and suborn them to the service of ideology!
Shame On You!

How many of the 55 or 60 house seats did they back? I did not want the senate.

Crock of b.s. and negativity.

The Tea Party-oriented precincts here in the Illinois suburbs organized and delivered 50-60% turnouts in many precincts in key areas that delivered the race for many of our statewide candidates.

I saw it with my own eyes as I pollwatched out in the NW suburbs tonight and monitored vote tallies and counted the number of GOP delivered votes.

And oh yes. Tea Partier from almost day 1 - Joe Walsh may have pulled off one of the upsets of the year by beating the colossially stupid, Obama-lackey lap dog Melissa Bean for the Illinois Congressional 8th seat tonight.

He did it by running a VERY aggressive ground game at the precinct level with a very enthusiastic and motivated bunch of volunteer Tea Partiers doing countless HOURS of phone banking, walking precincts, and all of this on a shoe-string budget.

Seems that you take Republican victory to another new high...heh. I would guess that if the Republicans won all, the Country would not only be saved, but would glow into the night...

You sir, have a problem when looking at the future - both realistically and politically. You have lost all perception of reality when you think that Republicans can and will save the country. They are just as unsavory as the Dems, just maybe at a different perspective. Our future does NOT rest with Republicans...and certainly NOT the Democrats. It rests with you!

If you continue to think that a particular party is going to be your Savior, you are doomed to failure.

Both parties are looking for power and control... Both are performing against the Constitution (if taken literally). You have to continue to choose between the two (at least for now - the Tea Party is lurking) and that seems to confuse most people.

If things don’t change dramatically in the next few years, it won’t matter anyway...

It depends on the individual recognizing the problems and understanding what the solution is before things will change.

IOWs the TEA Party was obstructed by the GOP from winning more conservative seats. I agree. The RNC needs to be defunded.

You need to change your screen name to stupid.

You write like a lib - starting with the conclusion - then writing some facts to support it, while ignoring others.

O’Donnell lost - and we are all supposed to cry boo hoo - bad tea party. Fiorina lost - and not a peep.

O’Donnell most probably lost due to attack FORM REPS. And lack of support from Rinos.

As for Angle - blacks and Mexicans from Las Vegas, with some ex-LA libs mixed in. Plus - who knows how much fraud.

The Tea Party backed the most conservative candidates in these races. We win some, then win some more in 2012. Overall the Democrats took a beating tonight. Too bad if that upsets you.
