reported.
By the time the trooper got her to the station her BAC would have dropped significantly.
If his job is to harass the innocent (as proven by the station's breathalyzer), then okay, he was doing his job.
Stop being a copsucker.
Report away. If you are going to be this way, you will be called on it. Sorry about your luck.
The tacit assumption behind your claiming that she was "stalling" would be what, then, if not that she was legally drunk at the time?
You're really not very good at this, you know.
Sounds like the cop didnt know she was the bedwarmer of a really important lawyer. Poor lawyers wife,,, the only one at the party who didn’t drink! (she says she only “sipped” some wine)
Some lawyer is playing the “you don’t know who i am” game,,,
She’s guilty as homemade sin,,,
In that remark you are correct. The argument is about the way this woman was treated, the bogus reason she was pulled over, the failure of the officer to prove that she failed a field sobriety test, and the fact that there was absolutely no alcohol recorded on the tests given at the police station...........AND, the planned pullover of her husband by officer Smith..........
No, didn't miss that at all. The facts on the ground, resulting from later BAC testing, indicates that the woman was nowhere near legally drunk when she was pulled over by the officer. So, I'd tend to think something else was at play, perhaps that she distrusted the officer's motives, which is as described in the letter that is the subject of the thread.
Considering the report states they were only about a mile away from the station, I would say maybe 15 or 20 minutes at the most........not hours.
Stop yelling mac...we don’t need to read your comments THREE times.
Any BAC won't drop to 0.0000000 in the short length of time it took to transport the wife to the police station..........
Uh, maybe you aren’t keeping up. She first said she had nothing to drink. Then the officer’s notes said she had a small sip of wine.
I NEVER said she was stalling to pass the test. I said the reason she COULD be at zero even though having had a sip of wine was because an hour had passed since she had been stopped and that would mean that even if she had had the sip of wine the officer insisted he smelled on her when he stopped her it would be out of her system.
The issue we were debating way back then was whether the officer could have smelled alchohol on her breath and she still gets a 0 an hour later.
google chrome doesn’t work well with this web site on my pc.
Not doing it on purpose.
I would go so far as to say that any claim of odor of alcohol on the breath of the wife that ultimately tested 0.000 was a lie by the arresting officer.............
So,,if you are wronged,,, you use personal relationships with people in positions of power to get your way. But that’s NOT being corrupt for the governor to personally intervene for his friends? Would the governor take the same call from anyone else?
BTW,,,kinda funny,, in the letter he goes into exhaustive detain about “who” he is. Why would you need to do that if you are so buddy buddy with the governor? Just another self important A-hole who isnt as famous as he thinks. If he was so connected,, wouldnt he just make a quick phone call?
Uh, slick, you’re a lying weasel. What is your personal interest in this matter?
Yup...and all that according to the wife of a “don’t you know who I am” attorney throwing his weight around. Bet that never happens to officers, eh?
Wondering about that assault charge from last December on the hubby of the woman. Maybe they both have anger management problems or more likely “HEY, We are BIGSHOTS” disease.
Nor do I.
But the handling of the incident does not seem normal either.
