Although they speak to the desperation of liberal leaders (particularly those in Washington), the gargantuan lies and incendiary invective being purveyed by lawmakers like Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., and Rep. Andre Carson, D-Ind., also represent a dangerous abandonment of moral restraint on the part of the left and a genuine threat to domestic tranquility in the short term.
On Aug. 20, Waters, a black congresswoman, told a town-hall meeting that "the tea party can go straight to hell" after thoroughly lambasting the grass-roots group. Last week, Rep. Carson, who is also a prominent member of the Congressional Black Caucus, told a similar gathering that some in Congress and the tea-party movement would love to see blacks "hanging on a tree."
Grossly overstating elements of racism has been boilerplate fare among liberals and black activists for many years, but what's occurring done now is being criticized as beyond irresponsible, even by certain liberal pundits.
But is it?
Some have said that words such as those of Waters and Carson border on the rhetoric of those who would like to start a race war. I don't think it borders on this at all; I believe it is in fact the rhetoric of those who would like to start a race war. As such, it is much more maliciousness than irresponsibility....

Already happening, it’s just being covered over by the MSM calling it “flash mob” incidents. All it’s going to take is for one of those flash mobs to pick a victim that happens to conceal carry, and then the fireworks will explode.
Not that it matters a whole lot, but the author of the article is black.
Obviously a lot of thoughtful blacks disagree with the likes of Sharpton and Waters, but they don’t get the wall-to-wall broadcasting coverage that the haters do.
I read Obama’s black approval is down 10 points. That’s a good trend I’d like to see accelerate!
I saw it and it represented a complete end of the world scenario.........not economic collapse, war or race war. Your scenarios aren't even close.........
IMO, these people are seriously underestimating the number of people who aren’t declared members of the Tea Party who won’t hesitate to put a bullet between the eyes of any upstart race riot mob. People who are sick enough of the crap to not take it any more. People who are actually preparing for the day the SHTF.
A race war isn’t going to happen for a whole LOT of reasons, which of course doesn’t mean that some dummies won’t try to start one.
An excellent example is the Rodney King police acquittal riots. After trashing *their own* neighborhood, black rioters trashed the nearby Korean neighborhood. Okay, they got away with it, once.
The next day, any black rioter who would have entered the Korean neighborhood would have died like Tony Montana at the end of the movie Scarface.
And thus it will be for the foreseeable future. That Korean neighborhood will still be an armed camp 50 years after that event.
Even more so, after those riots, the police decided that they needed more “formidable” means of controlling riots. And they did not mess around when they made plans for any future event of that kind.
Now think about what the rioters in that time have done to prepare for the next riot. In a nutshell, nothing. They are the same, unemployed, violent, worthless lot they were that day. So if they try it on, they are going to get *badly* burned.
It might not even be characterized as a “race riot”, but just as a “public disturbance” that ends up with a whole herd of rioters going to prison. That is, if they are lucky. If they aren’t, there are going to be a whole lot of dead rioters.
War over.
Not to mention the mexican killing 7 Nationa Guardsmen.
In today’s increasingly PC environment, with a black president and attorney general?
I agree that it is escalating.
I don’t think much will happen. At some point one of the gang of 200 will try to pint out that they are like 18% of the population...and they have shitty odds of success.
Someone amongst them will have some math skills. Some of them will have fear. Most will be just plain old stupid. They will probably follow the mathematicians home.
They are not infinitely powerful, and Holder, for one, is becoming increasingly nervous that he will all too soon be wearing county pajamas, which he richly deserves.
Didn’t she also say “and I know how to send them there”. After telling us to go to hell?

What comes to mind is that “Pulp Fiction” dialogue between Jules and Jimmie about the lack of a sign in front of his house indicating the storage of dead persons of color. People I know don’t have that sign either, but . . .
I fail to understand how blacks can support obamma if you look at it by the economic numbers.
They thought by his being elected their lives would get better. Not happening by a long shot.
The communists have said the old way of rioting (burning down their own communities and killing each other) is not what they want this time. They want to organize flash mobs to meet up in “white neighborhoods” and burn them down.
Hopefully the police stop them at the borders because otherwise there will be a lot of dead urban yutes.
