Mismanaging our country to the point that Obama was elected President and Supreme Court Justice John Roberts - thanks Dubya! (sarcasm off). Bush bots - feel free to declare your mea culpas at any time.

EVERY evil of teh Clinton and Obama administration had its genesis in the terms of Bush II and his father.

Blame Bush makes more sense than most people realize.

Freepers were just about unanimous is lauding Bush for the Roberts pick.

Yet Bush is 100% to blame now for not knowing how Roberts would vote for the rest of his life?

ROTFLMAO! Ah a true to form Bush bot - zero accountability for their prince. I suppose Roberts magically appeared onto the Supreme Court courtesy of the tooth fairy huh?

Okay. I don't believe you have any motive, political, personal, other than to speak your heart and mind, saying how you really feel, probably felt this way for quite some time, and can't say that I blame you. Other dyed-in the-wool Republicans have had the same change of heart about Dubya, but you've had the temerity to say it exactly as it is, exactly how you feel.and I congratulate, respect you for it.

During his tenure, he was spoken of here at FR with great reverence, respect, support for him was a deep as it was wide. Now, I can't recall the last time I read anything about him here. So, it may have taken three years to speak your mind, God bless you for that, but for you at least, the bloom is off this Texas-or-any-other-variety-rose.

And it’s very unlikely that W will have a comment on the ruling. He just doesn’t comment since leaving office, except, of course, when he wants to call conservatives xenophobes for opposing his amnesty and open borders initiatives.

So what’s Rove gonna’ say?

I voted for Ross Perot because I wanted him to read MY lips. And I still don’t regret it. I voted for W and do regret it.

I was thinking the same thing.

What if those 560 voters in Florida in 2000 voted another way or the ballot in Palm County was designed properly or the rats figured a way to steal another state?

We would have had Al Gore and perhaps a backlash against him and a much more conservative, 2004-2012.

Be careful what you wish for was never more true than in 2000.

1988, 1992, 2000, 2004 - all four of my Bush votes WASTED!

1996 and 2008 a total waste on idiots.

I’m done. To hell with politicians. The Republic is dead.

I’ve been pointing out Dubya’s conservative betrayals since the Farm Bill of 02. At that point it was obvious that Bush and co. had made a conscious decision to go full steam ahead on big government for Jesus projects.

“During his tenure, he was spoken of here at FR with great reverence, respect, support for him was a deep as it was wide.”

Hero worship is sickening regardless of the political party that practices it. The consequences are usually unpleasant as well. Just consider how the current occupant of the White House got there.

“Now, I can’t recall the last time I read anything about him here.”

Plenty of folks have convientlly short memories. Its considered impolitic to bring up Medicare Part D, Operation Togehter Forward II, TARP, No Child Left Behind...

You forgotten W getting us into 2 wars we can’t win.

I couldn’t believe Bush got a white guy approved as chief justice of the supreme court (in a day & age where being white and male are illegal); now I understand.

If Bush is accountable then so are the conservatives who cheered after Roberts was named.

No, Roberts didn't magically appear. He was lobbied for...conservatives worked hard to bring his name before Bush. His name was put forth time and time again right here on FR before Bush ever named him. And FR celebrated when he did.

It wasn't the RINOS who pushed hardest for him to be on the court.

Irrelevant. Dubya was in charge, made the call and threw his name into the ring. He alone bears responsibility for Robert's position on the Court. Remember that "Decider" thing?
