No pal, my argument is that one man can not know the mind of another man with any degree of certainty. No degree of vetting can uncover the building desire in DC to be accepted by the self proclaimed best and brightest. And only a fool thinks otherwise. Like you.

“I’m saying that if Bush is culpable, so are all those who were wrong about Roberts.”

And I am retorting that such a policy is akin to passing the buck. Bush was the president. He was in charge and it was his reposnsiblity to rise above such chatter for the good of the country. Not anyone else’s. As per today’s ruling, he failed in that test.

"one man can not know the mind of another man with any degree of certainty."

You tell that to your prince?

"I looked the man in the eye. I was able to get a sense of his soul." June 16th, 2001

Yet another Dubya epic fail.

Bush was the president.

But not God.

The President is not the only one to blame for every detail that goes wrong, not is he the one to praise for every detail that goes right.

In a democracy the people are culpable too; in this case conservatives and not RINO's have to re-examine why they pushed Roberts' name (if they don't like the ruling).

“Bush was the president. But not God.”

Lol, you must not have visited any of the Daily Dose threads.

“The President is not the only one to blame for every detail that goes wrong”

Nominating a Supreme Court Justice who proved to be the deciding vote for Obamacare is a pretty big detail to screw up. And Bush was the one who nominated him. Parse out the blame in any formula you’d like. Dubya is still the main culprit.

Yeah, the DU "blame Bush" mantra is coming through from you loud and very clear.

The Bush bot worship mania is certainly emanating from you. What’s sickening is even after all the damage that schmuck has done to this country and small government conservatism, there’s still diehards like you to debase themselves before him.

How much damage did Reagan do to the country by not being a seer?

And there's still DU-aligning small minds like you who blame him for every negative thing that happens.

"Waaaaaaah Bush's fault" whiners.

Awww c’mon. You bots can do better than that when it comes to insults. When Bush was pushing amnesty, folks like you were using alot more potty words and threats.

Bottom line - Bush nominated Roberts. Epic Fail. Bush screwed up this country ensuring Obama’s election. Epic Fail.

I’m speaking of warfare in its most basic form, in which one group of people defeats another. We can’t even keep the enemy out of our own country; their way of life is winning without a shot being fired, and when shots are fired we blink first.

Nobody is afraid of mutually assured destruction from Afghanistan or Iraq; the fact is they have more armed men willing to fight & die for their cause. That is what wins wars.

It really doesn't take a potty mouth to recognize how the Alinsky-ites work .

The liberals convinced people like you to drink their koolaid and blame Bush for everything, even down to blaming Bush for a decision from a man the right almost unanimously backed and praised Bush for nominating.

Bush (according to people like you) was supposed to predict how Roberts might vote on an Obamacare bill which was then non-existent but would be passed some years in the future.

Strange logic. Actually, no logic.

Thay type of warfare is ancient history for superpowers...I was referring to unconventional warfare, in which it could be won in less than 24 hrs. This could be by complete destruction or destroying the populous and leaving all resources and structure in place.

Also, I was referring to mutually assured economic destruction in which countries (by virtue of a league or UN) have tied there economies together to prevent a full scale attack or annihilation of an enemy. (vested economic interest for everyone to deter World War type conflicts)

And, more armed men doesn’t mean a win....Appox. 45,000 people died in an instant in Hiroshima....not to mention the 35,000 in the following months (the land was poisoned as well)....and this was tech of the 40’s,

Bottom line is that every war is winnable if you are willing to do what it takes to win.

OK; we lost Iraq & Afghanistan because we weren’t willing to do what it takes to win. Another shining part of Bush’s legacy...
