The ex-cop accused of three revenge killings left behind a long manifesto outlining all of his grievances and observations.
That manifesto has given investigators some clues, but they still dont know where is Christopher Dorner.
Law enforcement spent four hours searching his moms Orange County home. They took out 10 grocery bags filled with evidence.
Dorner lost his job with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008. His manifesto vows revenge for that; and, surprisingly, thousands of people actually support him.
Its hard to believe but there are those out there who sympathize with the man targeting police officers.
One Facebook page is proclaiming Dorner for president. We propose electing a man who could no longer sit idly by and watch as malicious tyrants abuse the innocent.
The description on We Are All Chris Dorner chillingly says, Yes, this is war.(continued, 2 pages)

I am disappointed that Hollywood
has not produced a movie by now.
One of these things is watching what is going on in this case. We have a lunatic running around killing both innocent cops and innocent citizens and we actually have some people on the right treating him as if he had legitimate grievances which he just went a little overboard with. The second he started killing people (particularly people who had nothing to do with him being fired) he became a homicidal nut.
He is literally no different from the lunatics who go postal when they are fired from their job. And yet, somehow, the LAPD is being questioned with regard to their treatment of him. I don't care if everything this guy said is true, the LAPD was absolutely justified in firing him because they demonstrated a profound insight into his character. And that's true whether or not this guy did or did not see a fellow officer kick a homeless guy.
Lastly, I would note with regard to how the LAPD treats citizens, you typically have to work real hard to get their attention when you are living in Los Angeles. They don't just hook up people because they have nothing better to do.
Spot on.
F’ Dorner. And F’ anyone who supports him.
Not sure what your point is. I don’t condone Mr. Dorner’s actions. His choice of victims was vicious and brutal and is indicative of a truly terrifying cold calculative rage.
That does not change the basic fact that criminals will become folk heroes when they attack a corrupt government.
The LAPD created this Frankenstein monster and they own the destruction that comes. Corruption has consequences.
How would people supporting this criminal be any different from people supporting Obama for President?
So are you in favor of the cops assassinating those accused of crimes? In favor of shooting suspects in the back 40 times - even if you can’t make a positive ID?
How DARE you say anything less than defamatory about the LAPD?
Boy, did you step in it now.
I see “apologies”, “backpedaling”, “re-education” and groveling in your future to get back in the good graces of many Freepers.

Americans don’t like cops
Of all the institutions in Los Angeles, the only instutitions that have attempted to maintain some semblance of professionalism are the Fire Dept and the LAPD.
Where does shooting up a vehicle that is the wrong make and model fit in this continuum of professionalism that the LAPD maintains? Women shot during LAPD ex-cop manhunt had no warning, lawyer says
He was fired to ratting out his training officer. That would happen if he were lying....or if he were telling the truth.
I'm not defending this jackass' actions in any way or form. But shooting up random civilians seems to be playing right into his [Dorner's] accusations.
U.S. troops in a war zone face court martial for less. How is it we've come to expect less from the police that are allegedly there to serve and protect?
The excuse that the area is dangerous and the residents of the area are a rough lot doesn't allow me to waste an Iraqi or Afghan village and shoot up random vehicles out of fear. It damn sure doesn't give the LAPD carte blanche to do as such in America.
Jungle fever of a diff sort
Only in America can you NOT be a citizen and own a brand new, shiny Toyota Tacoma truck. Loans? Insurance? Driver license? No problema! Now they’ll get a hefty payout from the cops!
It disgusts me to see FReepers ignoring the fact that scumbag Dorner has murdered completely innocent people so they can turn him into some kind of hero.
I hope they’re happy, they’ve now joined the ranks of bottom feeders wearing hoodies in protest of the Trayvon “murder”.
A standing ovation for that post.
Good point. Good thing this didn't happen in one of those towns where grocery bags are prohibited. /s
What the 2 cops did in shooting the 2 Hispanic ladies was a disgraceful act of unprofessionalism which justifies those cops getting fired and probably getting indicted for the reckless discharge of their sidearms. But their actions in no way lend credence to Dorner's actions.
More importantly their actions do not serve as an indictment of the LAPD any more than does 5 US Army enlisted men raping a 14 year old Iraqi girl and then killing her parents and 6 year old sister serve as an indictment of the American military.
Or perhaps you disagree. If so, I would enjoy being enlightened by the pointy-head faction on FR today.
Yeah but the newspaper delivery person had a similar truck so ya shoot hell our of it?
Guess that tells ya everything ya needs to know about cowboy police work,
