Support Growing For Former L.A. Officer Accused Of Killing Spree ("Dorner for President")
KMAX-TV ^ | February 8, 2013

The ex-cop accused of three revenge killings left behind a long manifesto outlining all of his grievances and observations.

That manifesto has given investigators some clues, but they still don’t know where is Christopher Dorner.

Law enforcement spent four hours searching his mom’s Orange County home. They took out 10 grocery bags filled with evidence.

Dorner lost his job with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008. His manifesto vows revenge for that; and, surprisingly, thousands of people actually support him.

It’s hard to believe but there are those out there who sympathize with the man targeting police officers.

One Facebook page is proclaiming Dorner for president. “We propose electing a man who could no longer sit idly by and watch as malicious tyrants abuse the innocent.”

The description on “We Are All Chris Dorner” chillingly says, “Yes, this is war.”(continued, 2 pages)

You've piqued my interest with your anecdote...I am curious: how did you let them "make up with the dog"?

An image like this popped into my mind:

LOL I just took the dog down to the office and had coffee with the chief and the officer and they fed him donuts.

OK, my bad, I misread you.

LAPD is one of the worst in the country (along with Philadelphia and chicago).

They have not earned our creedance nor trust. I am inclined to believe that what they have introduced in the news about this man is largely false, and intended to turn the public against him, in their own selfinterest.

I can make the same statement, but cops today are in no way like the cop of 1960.

This country is increasingly post-Christian, and slouching toward anarchy, which in turn facilitates increasing government control.

Robert Winthrop (May 12, 1809 – November 16, 1894), and Speaker of the House from 1838 to 1840, and later president of the Massachusetts Bible Society, explained that, “Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled, either by a power within them, or by a power without them; [ultimately] either by the Word of God, or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible or the bayonet.

But the government itself must be governed, which is by the voters, yet as they are increasingly given to deception, so those who are elected are increasingly deceivers.

Meanwhile, there are also many libertarian conservatives which seem to have a basic animus against police authority (and imagine we can have less use of that without the people being controlled from within), and some seem to be looking for a reason to take them out. Which will serve to justify greater force by the gov., and targeting of conservatives.

The problem is with those who direct the police, as i see that getting worse. All the conservatives could move to Wyoming or someplace, but for a real born again Christian the work is to reach the lost, and in addition to promoting righteousness, that is the only real hope for this country.

That is part of the picture, but while they want liberty for their immorality, and thus oppose moral authority and police enforcement of morality, they demand law enforcement targeting those who oppose them. Think of hate crime legislation and selective enforcement of it.

Meanwhile, the loss of integrity in law enforcement also serves to justifies the basic animus against authority an lack of objectivity in dealing with such that many conservatives seem to express.

In Dorner’s world, the LAPD is armed to the teeth, and the people are defenseless against them.

Ask the guy who got rammed at full speed if he thought he had any defense. How bad do you want to kill a guy that you ram him so hard that you tear his rear axle clean off?

This thread has been shock treatment.

So many that I thought were solid sensible FReepers have come out as supporters of the thugocracy, and I read your post without careful thought, and thought that you had jumped ship.

At this point I’ve come to suspect that Dorner is a tool that they have held in reserve, much like the rest of the liberal mass killers, but he didn’t deploy exactly as they had envisioned it.

They now have “2013 - Cop Oddessy” on their hands.

I agree with you. Some of the stuff I have read is disconcerting, to be charitable.

But, hey. The other side is that we allow people to speak their mind, mostly. Doesn’t mean you won’t be challenged, but you can say what you want.

I’m not shilling for the LAPD. I’m just pointing out the gaping hole in Rambro’s logic.

I'm not. I expected it..........
