You make an excellent point. Certainly need to keep the heat on for another year and a half and see if there are enough patriots left in the country to keep the House and take back the Senate. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are doing a great job. They need to be out front to be the voice of the senate and if so, it can be done.

You really expect him to interrupt his “lifestyles of the Rich and Imposters” routine to show up for congressional testimony?.....that’s the stuff legitimate presidents do.
Hold enough hearings to cut into the Family’s vacation and golf time.

This is a much better plan. I’m fairly certain that every single thing he and the administration does for the duration will receive increased (well, a lot more than no, anyway) scrutiny from the media. 2014 election results will probably slam the door on any more crazy initiatives and will probably result in rollbacks.
Also, with three years left and an uncertain 2016 future ahead of them, I suspect that a lot of the mid-level wonks are going to be on their best behavior. The job market is STILL likely to be tough then.
