What exactly does it take for a man with domestic abuse complaints and a fatal shooting to lose access to weapons?
Exactly what happened on Monday between George Zimmerman and his estranged wife, Shellie, in Lake Mary, Fla., is still in doubt but seeing the words Zimmerman, gun and altercation strung together once again has turned Zimmerman into a lightning rod for questions regarding gun violence and domestic abuse in the United States.
Based on the initial report, Shellie called the police that day claiming Zimmerman, brandishing his firearm, was threatening her, daring her to step closer to him. I dont know what hes capable of. Im really, really scared, she told the emergency dispatcher. He violently destroyed her iPad, she said, allegedly cutting through the device with his pocketknife. He also apparently came to blows with her father, and allegedly exhibited the complete lack of self-control and dangerously poor judgment for which the public has come to know him.
But because Shellie changed her story only hours later saying she never saw a firearm, and that she wouldnt press charges there was no domestic violence report filed. Absent that, the police didnt pursue a warrant to search Zimmermans vehicle for the gun he may or may not have used to threaten Shellie.
Whether or not Zimmerman had a gun on him that day, one thing remains clear: The gun he used to kill Trayvon Martin may still be lawfully returned to him. And he is, according to recent reports, looking to buy more.
Which invites the question: What does a person have to do in this country to get a gun taken away? Or lose the right to a concealed carry permit?(continued)

Aw, that's too easy. Like taking candy from a baby. Move to California.
That’s a rhetorical question, right?
The account that seems to fit the police statements is that she called the police and told them he was raving with a gun when he did not have one. It makes you wonder if she was trying to get him killed while she is still the beneficiary on his life insurance.

Thats a rhetorical question, right?
Either that or sarcasm at liberals.
“...sarcasm at liberals.”
I believe you on that.
The Lake Mary police may not have to do that.
The police reports and surveillance tape of the incident are now public record that even the judge who granted her probation can see.
Any one of a half dozen things she did on Monday can result in a Probation Violation and nullification of her plea deal.
George was found Not Guilty in the Trayvon Martin shooting, and his heifer soon-to-be ex-wife lied to police about the incident the other day.
So why should he lose his Second Amendment rights, especially in light of the fact that hundreds, if not thousands of individuals have made death threats against him?
Katie, whoever the hell she is, is clueless.
Answer to your question, Katie. Shoot you in cold blood.
Then a person will be disarmed, and if convicted, sent to prison, Katie...
Although, in some counties in TX, you being so stupid and delusional might get you shot Katie, and the shooter will probably go free. You know Katie, the "she needed killing" doctrine.
Sux doesn't, Katie.

There is no domestic violence, all charges were dropped.
Zimmerman acted in self defense, that’s is what the jury concluded, and he was acquitted.
Except, Missy McDonough, the soon-to-be ex wife admitted that the gun part was untrue.
It was all over “the Money” Zimmerman got and she wanted a bigger piece of the pie. Alimony, that can get ugly.
Breaking up is hard to do ~
“CONVICTION OF A CRIME”
But don’t you see, GZ has ALREADY been tried and convicted of the crime in the Court of Closed Minds. Facts be damned, the race baiters are going to make an example of GZ so nobody, nowhere, no time, will ever consider resisting being slammed repeatedly on a hard surface during the course of a beat-down.
And when did George Zimmerman get turned into Charles Bronson?
Thanks! It is always interesting to see how badly the liberals want to destroy him. Appreciate the ping.
A conviction?
Not in Mass. Have your wife tell the cops you slapped her...no more guns for you until after the trial.
I live in a nice fall foliage gulag.
