Nearly four years after a deadly massacre where a lone gunman killed 27, including 20 students, at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Ct., a rebuilt school is set to repoen next month.
The rebuilt school will have room for 506 students, and has 86,000 square feet.
The state-of-the-art facility has a glass facade and grassy courtyard. It also has leaf sculptures and a mural.

I assume government worker-teachers are standing by with baited breath, pregnant with anticipation at the opportunity to force maleficent parents to administer psychotropic drugs (read: Ritalin) to the children they’ve kicked to the curb with their education.
If the Ritalin fails, government is MORE than happy to hand out condoms to grammar schools kids.

Never did get a satisfactory reason why they had to tear the entire old school building down. It wasn’t THAT old that it couldn’t have been completely repaired.
Now there’s a brand new building with no wounds from the past...but it is STILL Sandy Hook Elementary School in the same location.
Weird story from the very beginning that some FReepers today continue to believe as a true narrative.
They might as well have painted a Target on the Roof.
After the Amish children were Murdered in the Schoolhouse it was torn down. The same should have been done with Sandy Hook Elementary.

Yes, truly STUPID move; it was a MAKE WORK/make money, UNNECESSARY thing to do. At least I don’t have to pay for the idiotic “memorial” that they wanted to build too, though.
Anyway, the city should of turned the location into a park with a monument and built a new school in different location. It akin to building a mall on a cemetery, not cool.

You know NOTHING at all about this town; which is NOT a city at all! Most people here own guns, are pro the 2nd. Amendment, and turning that land into a ridiculous, completely UNNEEDED memorial "park", is an even WORSE idea!
