Trump is giving the Democrats everything they wanted. He is siding with Pelosi and Schumer on raising the National Debt for more outrageous Pork Spending, supporting DACA with Illegal Immigration, and not pursing Clinton, Lerner, etc.. on any crimes they committed. So why have a coup????

One thing we all have to take into consideration—It’s clear there is a very huge power struggle within the US govt now and we can all admit that Trump is an outsider and doesn’t have too many friends and allies who will do whats right for MAGA.
One area where Trump can command loyalty and probably has the firmest grip on is the military. Although we are displeased with swampers like McMaster & Kelly, perhaps Trump feels like he can only rely on military men to keep the circus tamed.
I do wish Trump would seek out the thousands of very qualified retired officers who never made it to General/Admiral rank—you know the Colonels who were perhaps the best leaders the military had but they were perhaps just a little toooo good and didn’t/wouldn’t play the political game (and yes, at 3 or 4 stars, you are a fully active member of the US political machine).
Most of the field-grade commanders I had in my stint in the military were superb, incredible leaders and motivators, but it’s clear, especially with hindsight and connecting with some of them through social media, that they would NEVER have advanced much further in the military without playing “the game”
Most of them have also done exceptionally well in their post-military careers—true leaders of men.
Trump needs to seek these types out and get them into positions. The problem then arises—why in the hell would they give up what they are doing to jump into a swamp?
The author has to ignore armed citizens (many of them prior military) so he can outline how he dreams the military might overturn the results of an election he personally dislikes. Perhaps he is hoping that someone competent will finish the plan, fill in the details he does not know how to handle, and then implement the complete plan. After all, everyone he is willing to listen to also hates the election result, so he wants to see a coup. Now. So he can get his way and serve Queen Hillary. It’s her turn.
Having watched our military and our Secret Service under the usurper, I have no concerns at all about a coup under a real president. People I personally know who were in a position to do something and despised the druggie, people who referred to him as “Satan himself”, and people who prayed daily that the destruction under socialism would not be permanent never even discussed acting over the past eight years. Unless America’s enemies on the left initiate a coup or attempt to disarm us, we are not going to be the first to fire, and our military will not intervene.
A coup of Congress would be much more palatable and would be supported by the public, I think. Get rid of the professional politicians and replace them with real citizen-patriots.
The author is forgetting that a significant number of civilians have strategic military experience.
Considering what screw ups PC officers are they’d screw up a coup attempt.

Absolutely NONE! Barack Obama proved that there will never bee a military coup in America. If they did not rebel against a President that directly attacked them and the majority despised then the surely are not going to rebel against one that is trying to help them recover and a majority like.
A media coup is far more likely.
But it would require a monolithic anti-American media with an alliance to a monolithic well-placed group of federal politicians.
Since the Military backed Trump 3 to 1 in the last election, I doubt that any coup order would be carried out.
