We the people built ALL the military systems and know how to take them offline if they tried such as stunt. They would be deaf, dumb, and blind within minutes.
Another point....when it came to firing on US civilians, the armed services would find that they immediately had no replacements for those soldiers wounded and injured as the populace would turn against the military in large numbers. Also, many soldiers who took part in such atrocities would find that they are no longer welcome in their home towns or with their families and friends. Perhaps reminder leaflets should be printed out from time to time and circulated to military persons reminding them of those facts!

That’s pretty much what I expect to happen. People not close enough to DC to help will pick soft targets outside of DC to settle the score with. I expect the left to do the same but much more poorly.
If there was no coup vs Obama, there never will be.

The military did not turn against the president when we had presidents Clinton and Obama who were actively hostile to the military. The military is not going to turn against a president who actually supports the military.
