Former ABC News political director Mark Halperin has signed a deal to publish a book on how to beat President Trump in 2020 as a part of his attempt to make a comeback in public life following sexual harassment accusations in 2017.
Politico reported Sunday that the former journalist was planning on publishing the book How to Beat Trump: America's Top Political Strategists on What It Will Take after inking a deal with Regan Arts. Halperin, 54, interviewed 75 Democratic strategists for the book, among whom were David Axelrod and Donna Brazile.
When news broke of his involvement, Axelrod tried to distance himself from Halperin, saying he regretted helping him in the first place.
"To those who have asked, I have known Mark Halperin as a reporter for 25 years. He emailed me three questions about the 2020 race for a book he was writing and I replied in a few sentences, without giving enough thought to how my participation would be used or interpreted," the former Obama strategist said on Twitter. "By answering Halperin’s questions, I did not in any way mean to excuse his past, egregious behavior and, in retrospect, I regret responding at all."

How to beat Trump:
Step 1) Stop trying to murder half the population.
Trump is blessed. His enemies are mostly douchebags.
Firstly: “ABC News political director” and “journalist” is a contradiction of terms.
Secondly: Any so-called ‘journalist’ who writes a book titled: “How to Beat Trump: America’s Top Political Strategists on What It Will Take” isn’t a ‘journalist’ by any means, but more of a political operative.
Thirdly: Why does ABC News need a ‘political director’ ??? I always thought that a news agency is supposed to report the news, not guide it.
They will never stop trying to murder half of the population. Murdering is foundational to leftism. Abortion , assisted suicide, war, the use of the government monopoly of force to go after their enemies. This is leftism.

I have to admit, I don’t know who he is, but my first thought when I saw this headline was, has he been right about anything at all concerning Trump in the past 3 years??

Not only is the Prez blessed, so are we. Can you imagine if Cankles was Prez?
He’s the type of guy who would rub up against women with a boner.
Then when one of his victims complained he made sure she knew he would see her blackballed from DNC Media jobs.
He was a regular on MSNBC until he got busted when the women spoke out.
