Hulu will produce a documentary series based on “The 1619 Project,” stories in The New York Times that examined the legacy of slavery in America dating from the arrival of the first slave ship from Africa.
Roger Ross Williams, an Academy Award-winning director for his film “Music by Prudence,” will oversee and produce the series, it was announced Thursday.
The announcement was an outgrowth of a deal announced last summer by the Times, Lionsgate and Oprah Winfrey to develop “The 1619 Project” into a portfolio of films, television series and other content. …

Billions of dollars to push a pack of lies. Slavery did not start on this continent with the arrival of those slaves. Slavery was universal evil in the world at that time. Brazil certainly had more than the US.
One of the things unique about the United States for its time was the significant amount of opposition to slavery at the time of the country's founding, and ultimately those opposed to slavery won the day. That is the true history of slavery and the US - a history they seek to cover up. They certainly won't be including these projects the true history of the Democrat Party.
And to repeat from other threads - stop funding this stuff. Unsubscribe - get an antenna, use free streaming services...you don’t fund this stuff with that and they only make money off of what you choose to watch.
They have no interest in real slavery in Africa in 2021.
They care only about their make-believe grievances. Everything about the Left is make-believe.

Good God...we can listen to a Bella Pelosi speech or listen to the mother of "The Gentle Giant" if we need to be reminded of how evil this country is...and always has been!

Hulu is owned by Disney so this is no surprise.
There are other fake history courses on-line. I started watching a Great Courses show and it started off with anti-Christian propaganda so I turned it off. I feel sorry for people who think they’re learning something from these things.

Most free streaming sites are really fronts for pirate video sites.

Basically the same as torrent sites.
Found some real actual legal free streaming services, like Tubi. Very heavy on 1970s era movies and c-list movies. I recognized exactly one - Convoy) nothing on there list I would waste an hour or two on.
First commercials for Hulu that I ever saw featured Alec Baldwin. Alarm bells back then.
Good idea but ignore the slavery being caused by Joe Biden by smuggling illegals into the u.s.
