During COVID a lot of doctors were probably lenient on this stuff.
I just go directly to the main lab (which is closer to me than the doctor) and get my blood drawn and then they arrange a zoom call. I only take a water pill and thyroid medication so they aren’t particularly concerned about in person visits unless I have a “new” concern of some sort.
Telemedicine is quite useful for “maintenance” medical needs.
When one of my wife’s meds runs out, I call the pharmacy after hours, and enter the Rx#. If it’s expired, they call the doc to get it renewed.
Maintenance doses of a BP med; a statin; a couple of heart meds...
She is now down to seeing the doc (PA, really) every 6-12 months for vitals, blood draw, & an EKG.
