More U.S. adults disapprove than approve of the way President Joe Biden has handled the discovery of classified documents at his home and former office, a new poll shows, but that seems to have had little impact on his overall approval rating.
The new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds 41% of Americans say they approve of how Biden is handling his job as president, about the same as the 43% who said that in December. In the new poll, 77% of Democrats approve of how Biden is handling his job, while 91% of Republicans disapprove, both little changed since late last year.
Biden, who will address a joint session of Congress in his State of the Union address next week, needs all the support he can muster as he strategizes his expected reelection campaign, and has been working to focus voters on his agenda and big legislative wins instead of the documents flap. […]

Can there be even an ounce of truth to these approval polls ? I think not .
That AP article didn’t interview an “independent” who voted for Trump in 2020. It’s biased.
The entire matter was carefully messaged to make sure that whatever mission they wanted to accomplish was completed. Whether it was to retrieve some documents they needed to get out of the Biden’s hands, or whether to get something on Biden they could use to have him step down, I’m sure their goal was accomplished.
I’m just not sure yet what it was they wanted. They may have thought they could keep this quiet, as they did for a couple of months. Or, they may have wanted it out in the public arena but only after the first of the year. It may be a while before we start seeing the real reasons for the document “fiasco” with Biden. But, I think they have swept it under the rug pretty well, so it is thought pretty “minor” by most of their voters, just as they always do when something reflects badly on a democrat.

My theory exactly...1. Biden is an idiot and got elected anyhow. 2. Fettermans is worse and got elected anyhow. 3. Biden is worse now that two years ago and his idiocy with the classified docs is unprecedented and illegal. 4.Democrats will elect him anyhow because no matter how stupid, he has shown to be highly successful with wrecking the nation. That’s all they care about.

Even with all the idiots and non thinking people we have, I don’t believe 41% approve of him. 25% maybe. And some of those just go along because to as,it otherwise would be like saying they want Trump back.
