Hosts at Fox News had serious concerns about allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election being made by guests who were allies of former President Donald Trump, according to court filings in a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against the network.
“Sidney Powell is lying,” about having evidence for election fraud, Tucker Carlson told a producer about the attorney on Nov. 16, 2020, according to an excerpt from an exhibit that remains under seal.
The internal communication was included in a redacted summary judgment brief filed Thursday by attorneys for Dominion Voting Systems.
Carlson also referred to Powell in a text as an “unguided missile,” and “dangerous as hell.” Fellow host Laura Ingraham, meanwhile, told Carlson that Powell is “a complete nut. No one will work with her. Ditto with Rudy,” referring to former New York mayor and Trump supporter Rudy Giuliani.
Sean Hannity, meanwhile, said in a deposition “that whole narrative that Sidney was pushing, I did not believe it for one second,” according to Dominion’s filing. […]
Fox’s counterclaim is based on New York’s “anti-SLAAP” law. Such laws are aimed at protecting people trying to exercise their First Amendment rights from being intimidated by “strategic lawsuits against public participation,” or SLAPPs. …

Whether the individual Fox Hosts believed in the Voter Fraud or not, I’m guessing if those hosts were interested in keeping their jobs as is, they were expected to agree with the corporate point of view. Murdoch and Sons would have wanted the names and recent performance reviews of ‘ungrateful and troublesome’ hosts for further
deliberations. That’s how humongous industry-clusters often work. Ask someone from Facebook or Twitter what happens when you buck the system. Sean knows what side his bread is buttered on.
Well, if we’re being honest, it turned out Powell didn’t have any evidence to support her claim, which was primarily about Dominion voting machines.
To be clear, I am completely opposed to electronic voting, and I was a huge supporter of Powell and Trump on this site at the time.
But they failed to make the case, unfortunately. Didn’t even really try is what it looked like.
Now Dominion is even suing companies like Fox for defamation. And it looks like Dominion is now going to win.
Which is horrible news for anyone who wants to stop voting machines.
Why hasn’t Trump fought harder?

why would Sidney Powell, lie? why would Gen. Flynn lie? why would Mike Lindell, lie? or Giuliani? or Bannon, or Navarro? what would they have to gain by lying?
truly it would have gone far easier for them and they would have been far better off just toeing the ruling class line that claims of election fraud are always ‘baseless.’

Trump has had time and money to put a good case against Dominion together, if there is one that can be made.
His personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, and one of his top activists, Mike Lindell, are also being sued by Dominion, but Trump is completely uninvolved with either case. Reports also exist Trump never paid Giuliani for his services.
Why is this? Is there no possible case against Dominion that Trump thinks can be made? He thinks voting machines are 100% on the up and up?
Based on his lack of action, it’s starting to look that way. And it doesn’t matter what Trump SAYS, only what he DOES. If anything.
