If a man is married to a woman 20+ years, has 8 children with her, honors and cherishs her, how does that make her a trophy?

Some men actually do love their wives, they think they are beautiful because they love them.

Most of us "old marrieds" find our wives very attractive, even after many years of marriage (after 17 years here...at 40, She-who-must-be-obeyed commands a presence in a room like very few others, both older and younger).

At the same time, She-who-must-be-obeyed has said that I can look at the menu all I want -- just as long as I don't order...

Well, she's definitely a prize.......but hardly a "trophy". She also happens to be the mother of our seven children (one at a time, the hard way) and we'll have been married 25 years in February. Guess there's a little more goin' on here than the "Trophy Wife Syndrome". :)
