Sen. Kerry has, through his campaign spokesman Chad Clanton, that the book is full of lies... If this is true, then why has he NOT filed a lawsuit against the author, John O'Neil? Can someone answer that for me please?

Simple to answer.

The second that Kerry files a lawsuit and a judge accepts, then all of Kerry's records - including his military records - are open season during the discovery phase of the lawsuit.

Kerry wants to harrass others to refrain from selling the book, but doesn't want to sue O'Neill because of having his records ripped to shreds. He's got plenty to hide, and is trying his d***est to hide it while also silencing the critics.
