SUGGESTION TO PRESIDENT BUSH --- invite Vladimir Putin to Camp David IMMEDIATELY
DFU | 9-7-04 | DFU

Posted on 09/07/2004 8:20:18 AM PDT by doug from upland

What Islamic fascist terrorists did to children in Russia is beyond evil. There is not a word in the English language to describe it.

Russia was one of the nations which stood in the way of our efforts in Iraq. It is time to get them on board after Vladimir Putin's wake up call.

President Bush should invite Putin to Camp David immediately for a summit on cooperating to fight these murderous evil b*stards. They must be fought around the world.

Unlike John Kerry, I don't think Putin will be interested in fighting them more sensitively.

Let the RATS scream about a September or October Surprise. Get Putin over here now to show our cooperation to the world. It would make an important statement.

They just had their 9-11.

Great idea.

I hope that Bush extends his/our hand in order to help squash the Islamofascists like the cowardly pigs that they are.

I agree whole-heartedly with this idea. And people need to stop thinking that this is just about Chechnya. Russia is in a fight for her survival. This isn't just about some breakaway province.

It would mean more if he went to the Kremlin. I agree they NEED to meet.

I agree. Although President Bush is currently busy campaigning, it would be a significant gesture to actually make the time to take a short trip to Moscow if Putin is willing to sit and talk.

Bush might get dogged by the press as taking advantage of a bad situation

Who else gets an invite? Anyone?

Tony Blair. And the President of Poland.

The world is short on leaders who "get it".

I was very surprised that Bush did not reference the horrors in Russia during the RNC. It seemed such a painful reminder of 9/11 for us. I am also quite puzzled by the talking heads not mentioning the Afghan-Russian war, where Bin Laden made his bones, as a motivator for the Al Qaeda-Chechnyan involvement.

In light of Putin's scornful remarks to journalists pleading for internationalism, I think Bush and Vlad are on the same page with respect to this issue.

Bush is dogged by the press each time he takes a sh!t. He will be dogged no matter what he does. If he doesn't invite Putin, it will be an insult, if he does, a political ploy.

Reminds me who first called GWB after 9/11... Putin. I don't think it's necessary for showboat diplomacy. It's not GWB's style.

BTW, Laura Ingram spent a good portion of today's show on the Belsan massacre... she's hot on this.

Bush should wait until after the election before stepping up the terror war. If he did what it really took to eliminate islamofascism, the sheeple would not vote for him.

Bump to you doug for a great idea. Let's hope that these two leaders get together soon, to discuss our mutual Islamic Terrorist problem. Along with the UK, Poland, Italy and all of the other European countries who are now fighting with us in Iraq.

Also, let's get the media to stop referring to these terrorists as "Chechyn Rebels"....and call them by their correct identity.....Al Qaeda Islamic Muslim Murdering Terrorists.

Maybe also invite England, Italy, Poland, Australia and Japan? Immediately, however, the President and Putin have to meet. Maybe Bush should to to Moscow.
