Then apparently between 3,000 and 3,500 people knew who he was, and liked him better than the Republican candidate. Should they have waited to see what the outcome was before deciding who to vote for?
Nah, he was 4 years too soon about illegal immigration, foreign entanglements, and exporting jobs.
LOL. I think Pat is going for Bush. This is too bad for Bush because all the neo-conjobbers will always support the opposite of what Pat is for.
Is "big is good" as in big (record) trade/budget deficits, big #'s of illegals collecting big (billions) of welfare style benefits, big $ of future Social Security payments going to illegals under "totalization" agreements with El Foxy, big (trillions) of unfunded liabilities being laid on the backs of our kids, big #'s of job losses due to free trade / outsourcing?.......if so both parties can congratulate themselves on creating a BIG mess.
Ah yes ~ your excesses are still refreshing. :):)
That they do.
Or they get REALLY angry when reminded of it.
(Won't say what another of Galt's buddies did when reminded that he said he wasn't coming back here..)
Doncha just love it! :):)
No one is required to respect or honor all members of ANY political party. But to take one without ANY members of note over a party with hundreds of dedicated patriots seems the height of folly.
You are not voting "against big government" when you are helping to elect Kerry. DUH!
Not true the clever try to disguise their intents and not be too obvious.
There is no other website that works as good as this one ~ that's why they always return ~ if they can. :):)
Voting the candidate instead of the party in local races is fine, but how many people pay attention to local races? Far fewer people would know that third parties exist if they didn't run national candidates. I know, personally, that I would still be writing in candidates for President if third parties didn't have candidates 4 years ago.
The Libertarians, Constitutions, Greens, and SecondAmendmenters have to win a few elections at the lower levels before they will gain acceptance at the national level.
That is probably true for getting people elected for national office, but running candidates at the national level will get those parties exposure, even if they are bound to lose. That will help get people involved and candidates elected at the local level.
I am sure they are going to "feel very good" if it turns out that their "protest votes" will help elect Kerry.
It isn't enough that they gave us 8 long years of Clinton, now they want to give us Kerry! All the while feeling so "holy and righteous".
No I don't but I'm sure the drug co's. love seeing the figures on headache, stomach ache, blood pressure med's, etc.
At this point in time National Survival is the issue.
I see. And what freedom would you not take away in the name of "National Survival"?
A Bush defeat will mean the end of America as we know it though I realize that such as you already hate everything decent about it.
This is a ridiculous thing to say, even for you. How can you equate my distaste for an all-powerful, ever-expanding, increasingly intrusive federal government with hating everything decent about America?
Your support of past traitors would obviously incline you in that direction this time as well.
If you're going to exert the energy to post such idiotic crap, please have the decency to back it up.
You certainly won't have to worry about "big government" when the Islamofascists take over.
So if we follow your argument and simply allow big government to take over--after all, we wouldn't want to be anti-American by voicing our dissent--we will be safe. I'm beginning to think that all the recent seismic activity is actually the Founding Fathers rolling over in their graves.
It's pompous attitudes like yours that make me glad I'm voting the way I am.
People are sharp with the tongue in here. I guess that makes it more interesting over all. Sarcasm rues the day! I will not get caught up in those types of comments except to say that it takes all types to make the world go round. I hope that my inferior feeble thoughts can in some way enlighten you superior types. God chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.
I appreciate you reading and responding to my post about the Constitutional Party. I agree that we do not need Kerry for four years. Bush at best is still the lesser of two evils. If you need more information just let know. I do not intend to bash Bush. He is after all the President that God in his sovereignty has allowed into office. We would be better off with him in office than Kerry. That is not even a debate. I believe that America would be far better off if the Constitution Party candidates Michael A. Peroutka and Chuck Baldwin were in office. Do not leave out the divine ordinances of God. It is God that blesses a nation. Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: (Jeremiah 18:7) That nation has a responsibility to God in order to receive that blessing. The United States of America was that nation. It can be that nation again if we Christians will simply obey the bible to rebuke evil and exalt good. Christians need to get off the couches of complacency and go out into the streets, which are also city, state and federal governments and preach the gospels/ truths of the Holy Bible. Otherwise it is too late.
Isn't America a wonderful place!
The Bible wasn't written for the purpose governing a nation. We aren't going to have a theocracy in the United States, so forget the Constitution Party. We are a religious nation with a secular government. John Calvin tried this in Switzerland and it was a failure, let's not repeat the mistake.
They have a lot of good things to be said about them. For me, their big drawback is their desire to mix church and state. But they're upfront about it, and honorable folks.
...and oh so pure and superior.
