My Six Point Plan to Save America! 1. End reverse discrimanation NOW by ending affirmative action. 2. Tort Reform 3. Tax Cuts for ONLY those that pay taxes! Not the poor that dont pay taxes. 4. Support Traditional Marriage 5. End Abortion 6. Eliminate bilingual education. (If they come here, they should learn our language)

Only God can save this country, but the people think they are above Him, so forget about God helping America.

I like your points! Too bad the MSM would laugh at them.

I like the first four, and would replace them with: End gun control and End legislating from the bench.

Those are great! I may add them to the list. We dont need anymore Gun Control. Dems can put in place all the Gun Control laws their heart desires, but criminals will still get guns.

Not a bad start, but missing the VERY MOST important point:

1. Close the borders and deport all illegal aliens!

In addition to a lot of hard work, commitment, sacrifice, optimism and faith in doing those things you list and a whole lot more...here's the ONLY step that will ultimately save America...

II Chron 7:14

I'm calling it for Bush

God is talking about Israel and the Jews in that passage. It does not apply to the nation America, or to the people here who claim to believe in God but do the exact opposite of what they say they believe.

God's just warming up to spank the good 'ol US of A. This is no longer a Christian nation.

His people include any of those who have truly accepted Jesus Christ, IMHO...that commitment is the new convenant.

As to this nation not being a Christian nation...well, you are just wrong. They are here in their millions. Good, honest, sincere followers of Christ. Despite the efforts of the MSM, the DNC, and all of the other individuals, entities and organizations to the contrary, despite the strong delusion of so many and the choice to be worldly of others...this nation is still a Christian nation and God will honor that if they will do as II Chron 7:14 says. That promise extends to us today, just as much as the command to Love God, not murder, not steal, not commit adultry, etc. do..

That promise holds to those here in this country who are the remnant, the honest, the sincere in heart...who truly accept and follow the Master. If they will humble themselves and repent...He will heal our land.

God is speaking to Israel, obviously, and His people, the Jews. The Jews REMAIN His people, although they sure make enough trouble for themselves on top of the world hating them.

The promise would only apply to America if we were ALL His people. See the context of the passage. Solomon is dedicating the Temple he built for God. Note that our President says he is a believer but tolerates numbers of evils in government. Christ was not afraid to name names and correct people. Bush cannot do that or he would be out of office tomorrow.

Further proof of the body addressed is in II Chronicles 7:22.

Again, the USA has had it's day. Your patriotism may tell you otherwise, but our wisdom is always second to God's. Isn't it...

Sorry, we disagree on this fundamentally.

Those who follow Christ today are also "His" people. IMHO, any reading of the New testament makes this clear.

In addition, I fundamentally disagree with your characterization of America. It is not my patriotism that tells me this...it is the Spirit of God that dwells within. When Jesus Christ returns, though tattered and though there will be very, very difficult times between now and then (many of them do to the accounting for abortion and other gross perversions IMHO), the stars and stripes will be flying over this land and the constitution, though walked on, though abused, though visously fought over...will still be intact.

Those are my feelings on the matter and what I will stand by.

What you may be getting caught up in is your desire to be part of that promise. Fair enough. What you are wanting IS true... if America turned itself around, repented and came back to God, God would recognize it and bless it accordingly. However, it will not do so out of it's own stupidity and pride. Since nobody can repent for anyone else, there is only one conclusion...

Whether or not you think this promise and warning was written to the Jews in Israel, America is not going to seek God's blessing. It would take everybody, not a majority. Good luck finding 10% of Americans who claim religion, oppose abortion, provide for their families and have a real faith with God according to the Bible, not according to what some dimwit says on TV.

People will not learn from history, including of Israel, so they are doomed to repeat it. If they will not learn from history, they have no say in the matter. They will repeat the failures and losses of nations of the past who have done what we are doing. No need to get fatalistic, but you can draw your own conclusion if you view the matter objectively.

Nice sharing with you.

It doesn't take a majority in any case. Just that "His" people do so. This nation was founded in a like manner with His blessings. He will bless it now if the remnant turn to him.

That's my faith, and I will hold to it to my dying breath...no King but King Jesus!

Genesis 18:22-33 - prelude to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

God would have spared that city if even 10 righteous people had lived there. Not everyone has to be a Christian in order for God to spare this nation.

Furthermore, when Solomon dedicated the temple, he said: "Also concerning the foreigner who is not of Thy people Israel, when he comes from a far country for Thy name's sake (for they will hear of Thy great name and Thy mighty hand and of Thy outstretched arm); when he comes and prays toward this house, hear Thou in heaven, Thy dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to Thee, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Thy name, to fear Thee,...".

This seems to mean that even if someone is not of God's people, if he prays to God, God would recognize the prayer.

And when Jonah was sent to Nineveh, the people there repented and were spared, even though they were not God's people.

Therefore, I would suggest that even though only about 1/6 of the people in this nation are practicing Christians, we could still turn to Him for forgiveness, and hope to be spared.
