Tonight on COPS

Picture the American electorate as a woman, leaning against the frame of her duplex's screen door in a star-spangled halter top, paunchy midriff hanging out over her low-rise jeans. She has two black eyes and a busted lip.

"He didn't mean no harm, officers. He loves me. He just has trouble showing it is all."

"Ma'am, you don't have to take this you know, we could throw him out right now. Just say the word."

From behind her, we hear a beer bottle shatter. A drunken Texas drawl calls out from the living room inside.

"You'll take it and you'll like it, bitch."

"He didn't mean nothing, officers. He's a good man, I swear it."

Another pseudo-intellectual who thinks anyone who voted for Bush is the equivalent of a dangerously naive battered woman. The idea that intelligent, well-informed people might disagree with "Sour Bob", nah, that's impossible.

Bonus points for linking to the Frank book, the one that is written by a man who's very upset that people from his home state don't view issues the way he does. His conclusion, of course, is that people who disagree with him are stupid dupes.

Intellectual arrogance at its worst.

Its more like "intellectual" ignorance.

Too much left wing text book knowledge and virtually no common and real world experience and sense

The trademark of every good liberal is the mistaken belief that all conservatives are stupid.

They truly believe this from the bottom of their slimy souls.

Yeah. That's the problem with the world. Woodrow Wilson wasn't socialist enough.
