Greek Lawyers Attack 'Alexander' Bisexual Claims (Demand Oliver Stone Fiction Disclaimer on Film)

The makers of Colin Farell's upcoming epic 'Alexander' are facing the threat of lawsuit for claiming warrior Alexander the Great was bisexual.

A group of furious Greek lawyers insist the legendary conqueror was heterosexual, and now they are looking into suing film studio Warner Brothers and director Oliver Stone for claims to the contrary.

Yannis Varnakos, the spokesman for the 25 lawyers, says, 'The production company should make it clear that this film is pure fiction and not a true depiction of the life of Alexander.'

The group of attorneys say they have gathered enough evidence so far to know that there are 'inappropriate references' to Alexander's sexuality in the film.

Varnakos says that Oliver Stone has the right to freely express himself-but the audience has a right to know that the director is tampering with history.

An extradjudicial note has been sent insisting that the studio include a reference in the credits saying the movie is fictional.

Alexander wasn't Greek anyway. He was Macedonian.

BTW - If Russia attacked Turkey from the rear, would Greece help?

A spokeman for the group also went on to say, 'Oliver Stone better watch his ass, is all we are gonna say...'

He traveled with a young man in his entourage who was used for tension relief.

'inappropriate references'

Somebody should go tell these guys that Oliver Stone's entire career was built on that concept.

I guess it depends on what the definition of "is" is. But really, anybody named Alexander is pretty much doomed to a life of homolistic tendencies

I think 'Troy' has some extra scenes along these lines with Brad Pitt that were cut from the film for box office purposes.

The story goes that Warner was pleading with Stone to stop gaying the film up, fearing it would be a diaster..

What the hell does Alexander's sex life have to do with anything, anyway? Can't they just tell about his accomplishments without diving into the bedroom?

Geeze Louise! Someone declare Alexander a Democrat and make him immune to such examination.

Macedonia is Greece.

No matter how much we call people from Arkasas inbred hicks, they are still part of the USA.

GWBush was governor of texas and now he is president of the USA.

Besides this has been posted twice.

too late, fox has already had a stoy screaming that this is a "gay" film.

Now the fun begins, will straign men go to see this "gay" Oliver Stone movie.

Ironic since Oliver Stone refused any help from the historians in Macedonia,Greece who have actually studied alexander all their lives.

Supposedly the scenes involving Rosario Dawson are so hot that it almost turns him straight.. Angelina Jolie plays Colin's mum so no luck there

Exactly. Have the Greeks overlooked the fact that this is a movie loosely based on Oliver's interpretation? Films aren't real, folks. Hence the term "acting".
