I figured I'd be thoughtful and tug on your shirt - if I may - about some blogs watching the gubernatorial recount morass...
First up is the infamous www.SoundPolitics.com - I'd give them a B for content, an A for traffic, comments and noteriety.
Second is www.horsesass.org - the lefty blog taking a counterpoint to SoundPolitics.com. A for content, B for traffic and an A+ for noteriety.
Third is the Dinocrat-ran Josef's Public Journal at http://www.josef-a-k.blogspot.com . There, you can watch like a Global Hawk the gubernatorial race with hyperlinks to the latest news, darned good analysis, and an overall public record in the likely event Christine O'Grady Gregoire tries to pollute the electoral process... and we have to swing into OPERATION WASHINGTON FREEDOM/turning Olympia into Olympiev. Of course, when Marsha Richards "open[s her] mouth and lift houses off the ground. Whole houses, clear off the ground" - to use a "The West Wing" (that's doled out like a $25 rose - NOT very often because "The West Wing" is the author's #1 source of entertainment) quote(http://b4a.healthyinterest.net/char/leo_q.html) - the Public Journal blogs that too! I'd grade my own website - but that'd be self-serving... My ego knows bounds - I'm not exactly putting out Gregoire's fire... YET!
Several other blogs are occassionally tracking the gubernatorial electoral morass:
Digital Brown Pajamas - http://www.digitalbrownpajamas.com/
Pull on Superman's Cape - http://pullonsupermanscape.typepad.com/pull_on_supermans_cape/
Timothy Goddard's Blog - http://www.timothygoddard.com/blog
(Alexander) Hamilton's Pamphlets - http://hamiltonspamphlets.blogs.com/hamiltons_pamphlets/
Enjoy your political firefight - GO DINO GO!
Big mess coming. The King County Republican Party has, I'm told, messed up in its efforts to recruit watchers. Comflicting information put out, etc. (Don't know why they're requiring 1 person to work 10 hours/day, 6 days/week, per station instead of splitting that between two people. This soon before Christmas that cuts the pool way down.)
WA ping...
Thanks for these. And, welcome to FR, btw.
Nobody will steal votes...

You can thank Marsha Richards for this one - I happened to hear about it from one of her interviews...
I hope you make bookmarks out of those websites...
I forgot to add that Marsha Richards has a blog of her own at http://mlouise.blogspot.com/
I live in Franklin County, east of the Cascades, and I just learned she is suing our county.
I have a call into our auditor to get all the details but here is kind of the drift of it.
I don't know if all of Washington had the exact same kind of ballot but here we had A-B-C. The A ballot (which was all the initiatives) goes through the counter first. This evidently sets the BALLOT COUNT. Well it appears there were some voters who DID NOT WANT TO VOTE ON THE INITIATIVES SO THEY JUST THREW THE A BALLOT AWAY. Now on the B ballot is the President and Governor. Well, the people wanted to vote for them so that ballot got punched.
So now we have Gregoire suing us because the GOVENOR COUNT HAD MORE VOTES THAN THE BALLOT COUNT. I understand there was only 4-5 counts difference. It appears that Gregoire is to stupid to understand that some people throw parts of the ballot away.
What is a ping?
I went over my running record at http://josef-a-k.blogspot.com about this and found that Franklin County had "a gummy substance" that "jammed the counting machines" which meant that "workers had to separate ballots from an entire precinct" according to Tayla Tovey of KVEW 42's brisk report HERE. (HERE as in http://216.239.57.104/search?q=cache:RsQhZd3U0ZEJ:www.kvewtv.com/index.php%3Fsect_rank%3D1%26story_id%3D182726+gummy+substance+Franklin+County&hl=en)
There is also a Tri-City Herald article at (http://www.tri-cityherald.com/tch/local/story/5855159p-5771249c.html) regardng the matter you wrote about.
PING
I heard on Kirby this morning that even the Whitehouse is following this.
She said the Prosecutor Steve Lowe is going to ask that it be thrown out of court.
As per the Tri-City Herald article our Auditor Zona Lenhart and the Prosecutor Steve Lowe and both Democrats. They know Gregoir is trying to be steel this election.
Doesn't surprise me - Prez Bush had put pressure on then-State Senator Rossi to run.
Frankly, I'd prefer it if they would stay out of this crisis. This IS a blue state and Rossi made a point of not hanging around the B-C campaign... I hope that stays - we need grassroots Democrats to accept the result and revolt against their leaders.
Nothing like B-C involvement to unite the party...
Spunky,
I'm e-mailing this to our state's new Secretary of Defense. I don't know how high of quality they'll place this intel - but thanks...
If I were you, I'd CALL - NOT E-MAIL - campaign HQ at (425) 646-7202 and leave a message w/ your contact #s and real name. They need good, high quality intelligence over potential targets.
That said, when you wrote, "our Auditor Zona Lenhart and the Prosecutor Steve Lowe and both Democrats. They know Gregoire is trying to be steal this election" (I took the liberty of correcting your spelling) - does this mean they're with Rossi or with Gregoire? I think former, but because I'm so, so nervous I want to make sure.
That said, I think this is just another sick, desperate act by a tyrannical coward. You can visit http://josef-a-k.blogspot.com for more info and I just posted about how much of a threat to our democracy Gregoire is.
A ping is a post to parties you think would be interested in a thread.
I ping a list of people in Washington State to State issues.
I can not tell you who they may have voted for. The only thing I know for sure is they do not like the integrety of the county auditors office being put in question.
Not sure I understand this.
