I want to recall an experience of the Governor's race in Washington State that took place in 2004. And from that experience we should draw lessons and then bring those lessons learned forward to today where we see the Democrat's Achilles Heel that the President has already taken action on. I explain below and I'll keep it short. The 2004 gubernatorial race in Washington State pitted wildly popular Republican Dino Rossi against Democrat Christine Gregoire. Rossi's popularity was the only means to defeat the Democrat King County election fraud machine. Rossi won the first count and there were no more...
  • Dino Rossi explains how Democrats stole his election… and how they’re trying to steal this one

Former Washington gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi won his election. He was certified the winner of the 2004 election. Twice. But the closest gubernatorial election in United States history was flipped through shenanigans during the recount. “On nine different occasions, King County found more ballots,” Rossi told show host Chris Widener. King County has one-third of the state’s voters and left-wing Seattle is one-third of King County. This is all relevant as we’re in the middle of a similar situation at the national level. Several instances of voter fraud have been reported in swing states across the country. As Rossi, who...

A new poll from Washington’s eighth congressional district shows Republican Dino Rossi raking a commanding lead over Democrat Kim Schrier in the wake of Democrats’ failed smear attempt on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The poll, published Wednesday, shows Rossi with a commanding 10-point lead in the battleground district in his race against Schrier to replace retiring Rep. Dave Reichert (R-WA) in one of the districts that could determine the fate of the majority of the House of Representatives. At 49 percent, Rossi leads Schrier’s 39 percent, well outside the poll’s five percent margin of error. The survey of 400...

Democrat Patty Murray said she not only read the new health care law, but actually helped write it. Murray was participating in a debate with her GOP rival, Dino Rossi, in Spokane Thursday night when she was asked if she had read the 2,600 page bill before voting on it.“Not only did I read it – but I helped write it,” she said, according to an article at MSNBC.

Hello FReepers, I am looking for links or articles involving the elections for Al Franken and Dino Rossi and the allegations of voter fraud. I am sure that I remember reading that in at least one county in MN, there were more ballots cast than were registered voters. Dino Rossi also lost an election to Christine Gregoire under similar circumstances. Any other voter fraud articles that would support the need for showing ID to vote would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Democratic U.S. Sen. Patty Murray's campaign is preparing supporters for a possible tightening of her race against Republican Dino Rossi as more ballots are counted today.Murray's deputy campaign manager, Alex Glass, said she won't be shocked if Murray falls slightly behind Rossi this afternoon. That's because King County is only expected to count 45,000 ballots, which may be dwarfed by new totals from other counties. (Spokane County alone will count 30,000.)In a new memo on the state of the race, Jeff Bjornstad, Murray's campaign manager, predicted Rossi will lose even if he appears to surge today."The varying rates of counting...
  • PPP (D): Rossi holds small lead (Rossi 50%, Murray 48%)

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2010 Rossi holds small lead Every time PPP has polled the Washington Senate race this year it's found the race to be within 2 or 3 points and our final poll there is no exception. But there is one twist- for the first time we find Dino Rossi leading Patty Murray, by a 50-48 margin. Neither candidate has much in the way of support across party lines- Rossi's winning 93% of Republicans and Murray's winning 91% of Democrats. That means independents, as they are in so many races across the country, are making the difference for the...

Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and two percent (2%) are still undecided. Just over a week ago, Murray inched ahead 49% to 46%, but she has lost that lead in subsequent polls. Reporting from Richland, Wash. — U.S. Sen. Patty Murray has been one of the nation's biggest advocates of federal spending to boost the foundering economy. Here at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, the country's worst atomic weapons contamination site, Murray scored $1.9 billion in stimulus funds to speed cleanup and add 1,500 high-paying jobs in south-central Washington. But voters here have been ambivalent at best about all the money flowing in. During the primary, Murray trailed the local "tea party" candidate, who lost the GOP nomination to real estate investor and former legislator Dino Rossi. The Democratic incumbent now is waging...

Earlier this month, Senator Patty Murray told McClatchy News that, ‘I wasn’t elected to do earmarks. I was elected to get things done.’ Well, as we know, Senator Murray has certainly done earmarks. This year alone, she made nearly $1.4 billion in requests for more than 500 earmarks. These whopping figures are even more disturbing in light of the recent Seattle Times report that at least 17 of Senator Murray’s former staffers are now lobbyists for whom Senator Murray has requested millions in earmarks for their clients. According to the Times, these staffers-turned-lobbyists were awarded nearly $20 million in earmarks for their...

As Election Day and the end of many Democrats' political careers get closer, what passes for their party leadership is getting more desperate with each passing poll. The US Senate race in Washington State, which was supposed to be an easy win for incumbent Senator Patty Murray (D-Washington), is starting to tilt toward Republican Dino Rossi and all Vice President Joe Biden had to offer at a Tacoma rally today was the usual anti-business rhetoric and a negative reference to Mr. Rossi's dog.

In Washington State, the U.S. Senate race remains one of the closest in the country. The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state shows Republican challenger Dino Rossi attracting 48% of the vote while Democratic Senator Patty Murray earns support from 46%. Three percent (3%) prefer a different candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. Earlier this month, Murray had a slight edge. However, the race has been very close all along. In ten surveys conducted since January, the candidates have been within two points of each other seven times. Rossi has twice held a...

    1. U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-5, WA) may try to mend the rift between Dino Rossi and Clint Didier by asking Sarah Palin to step in. (Palin, who has family in Eastern Washington, was an early Didier endorser.) McMorris Rodgers, one of the select “Mama Grizzlies”—a Sarah Palin-endorsed female candidate—became fast friends with Palin after they met at the GOP convention in Minneapolis in 2008. (Both are strong, younger women in a male-dominated party; both are moms with a Downs Syndrome child; both are Evangelical social conservatives; and both are hardline conservatives.) Morning Fizz hears that McMorris Rodgers may...

Clint Didier threw a punch at Republican Senate candidate Dino Rossi on Friday, saying he won't endorse him unless Rossi makes some solid promises about where he stands on taxes, federal spending and abortion. Didier, the former NFL player and Pasco farmer who placed a distant third in this week's primary, said he could change his mind in a heartbeat if Rossi meets his demands. But Rossi's campaign said he won't submit to demands by Didier or anyone else. "I want to endorse Dino Rossi. I really do," Didier said at a news conference in downtown Seattle. "I want to...

The Senate candidate that had backing from the Tea Party, Clint Didier garnered about 12 percent of the vote on Tuesday’s primary election. Didier relied heavily on his endorsement from Sarah Palin for his bid against Republican Dino Rossi. Didier says although Palin didn’t come to Washington, her backing still helped his campaign. Clint Didier: “Let me tell you what, don’t you take anything away from Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin is working her tail off for this country. She’s been all over this country to different states. She’s going where she thinks she can do the most good, I just...

GOP challenger Dino Rossi has gained ground on incumbent U.S. Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) over the past six weeks according to the latest Elway poll. According to an earlier Elway poll, Rossi trailed Murray 34 percent to 51 percent at the beginning of May, but now trails by just 7 points—40 percent to 47 percent. The poll also indicated that the upcoming race and election should be intensely partisan, with 89 percent of Democrats supporting Murray and 84 percent of Republicans supporting Rossi. According to the poll, “Had this been a survey of just partisans, Murray would have had a...
