That doesn't necessarily mean he's bad. My doctor is Muslim and from India as well. He and his wife are neighbors and good friends of my sister and brother in law who is also also a doctor.
While they practice the Muslim religion, they also are very Americanized in every way and even decorate their house for Christmas.
The wife has admitted to my sister that she hates having to go home to India to visit because she is then required to behave as a Muslim Indian wife......
Your daughter's boyfriend might very well be westernized but when it comes to interactions with his muslim family, it could be very unpleasant....
With that being said, there is no way in hell would I allow my daughter to marry ANYONE she simply met over the internet nor would I give my approval after only meeting him once.........
Imagine what more Ted Bundy would have done if had had access to the internet and naive girls such as your daughter.......
This all happened about 15 years ago. My daughter and grandaughter now live at home with us. My daughter never made it into the UK thanks to the help of another freeper.
I’m sure this has been already posted but as a mother of a daughter that almost got seduced in this way over 10 years ago I would - deny internet access in your home. Confiscate computer, look it over change your daughters email address, find out what you can about this guy. Try and cut off any communication. If you pay for her cellphone take it away. It sounds drastic but I have read too many horror stories. If you have his email address send him a threatening email to stay away and don’t contact her. Report him to DHS. Take her passport of she has one. One day she will thank you for doing anything you could to save her.

You also may want to ask her with all the girls he has access to in whatever school he attends in the UK, why is he interested in her. Could it be that once they are married, he now has a free ticket into the U.S.?
