January 21st, 2005 Old guy walks up to front gate of the White House. Speaks to the Marine gurad there. " I would like to speak to Pres Kerry please"

The Marine looks as stunned as a Marine can look and says, "Im sorry sir, George W. Bush is our president, Mr Kerry lost the election."

The old man shrugs and walks away. The next day the old man walks to the same gate at the White House and speaks to the same Marine guard. "I would like to speak to President Kerry please."

The Marine looks at the old man and politely tells him, "Sir, George W. Bush is our president, Mr. Kerry lost the election".

The old man shruggs again and walks away

This goes on for a few days with the Marine trying to remain as diciplined and polite as befits his position as guard to the White House. Finally he could take no more as the old man came walking to the gate.

The marine says to the old man, "LOOK, I told you , again and again, GEORGE W. BUSH is the president. John Kerry LOST THE ELECTION"!

The old man smiles broadly and says, " I know son, I just want to hear you say it again."

The Marine stops, salutes smartly and says, YES SIR, see you tomorrow.
