Here but there are others. Three years ago i located a detailed report on the web that had photos of a Catholic priest and his small church in South America. The church was filled with very expensive European masterworks. The priest reportedly claimed to be Adolph Hitler just before he passed away. Sadly, this report has disappeared off the web and i do not have the time or energy to hunt for it again today.

A) His body was taken over by an unclean spirit in the last hours/days.
B) Something was lost in translation (the man was weak, not speaking clearly, the scribe to whom he was dictating miswrote the text, etc).
C) Your recollection is blurred; you have combined two or more stories/legends into one, your attention to detail failed you as an intervening phone call from your local pastor interrupted your on-line Hitler research and two events became one ...
Overall, I pick C.
