Regarding Armstrong Williams "scandal" Kos said: "Until names are named, we can assume every conservative pundit is on the White House's payola rolls."
Turns out he was paid by Howard Dean as a mouthpiece too.
DailyKos let everyone know that he was consulting the Howard Dean campaign. What he did not reveal and was not known was that he was paid more money because of what he could say in his blog.
Hypocritical?
Personally I don't understand what the big deal is. Williams accepted ad money for a cause he was already advocating, and Kos took money to advise a candidate that he would probably have liked anyway -- and received extra money to secure him because he could talk up the candidate. I just don't understand why Kos thinks he has the high ground
Very easy to understand. Remember the liberal mantra - do as I say, not as I do.
