disagree...I was with PW for two of their biggest days of protests- sunday/thursday. I was in charge of group #1- they/we were well prepared and coordinated from the get go. no problems at all and plenty of signs for everyone.

I was in Union Square Park Twice when small but brave Protest Warriors entered perhaps the most hostile acre in America. The Protest Warriors were clearly not prepared to respond to a high volume mob tactic.
I ran into a delegate from nearby and the about two handfuls of local Conservatives came out of hiding. The protesters could not tell us go home , we were home.
NYC is a rough area and one needs to be well prepared.

ANSWER, at least so far, hasn't been involved in any of the protests down in my neck of the woods (Dallas/Ft Worth, TX). I suspect the local peace coalitions include too many Jews, and too many in general who support the Palestinian peace process. Of course the "peace" group ANSWER won't let anybody who supports the peace process speak at their rallies. You have to support a one state solution (elimination of Israel) and you have to support the palestinians "right of resistance to occupation" (pro-war/intifada).

It's stunning that the mainstream media (even Fox) lets a pro-war, anti-peace group like ANSWER get away with passing itself off as anti-war.

understand the e-mail now...while I like Protest Warrior and have run several operations with them I am not impressed with their ability to debate.

Still; having conservatives in the streets of a liberal city showing how foolish the left/libs actually are drives them to the brink- they don't expect it, can't handle it and don't know how to deal with it.

Protest warriors should make an effort to be better prepared after the parade is over.
The radicals can be engaged and beaten back with proper preparation. They are never placed on defense use that to your advantage.
NYC has the meanest nastiest radicals in the country. These people should only be dealt with by trained volunteers .

There were thousands, at least hundreds of which were anarchists spoiling for a fight. I have photos that I will try to post in the next few days.

Relative to your comments about PW debate skills, I didn't debate the leftists for the most part yesterday. I've debated them on occasion, but I'm not sure that debating them (whether by PW or others) is the proper response.

What I did yesterday was laugh at them. I'll describe in greater detail when and if I post my photos of the inauguration day.

I told one leftist waiting in the security line near me yesterday to "swim to Cuba, free healthcare, free education," much to the amusement of most nearby people. (Some of the other, regular parade-watchers non-political people started insulting some of the leftists. I heard one later say "go to Cuba" to another leftist.)

In response he said "why did you come to annoy us today" and he was serious, as if he and his leftist friends truly believe that the world revolves around them.

I said: "Get real. We won. You lost. We're here to celebrate and watch a parade. You are the skunk at the parade."
