I am wondering if anyone else heard a comment made by newscaster Kelly Mack on KNBC 4 Morning News this morning. When talking with another commentator about President Bush's Innaugaral speech, she said,( and I am paraphrasing here)" Just goes to show , you have to take anything President Bush says, with a grain of salt." I have already called KNBC and made a major complaint. If you heard it, please express your disgust for such a comment.
KNBC (818-840-4444)
You found this shocking in what way? I donated to and voted for the man, but I certainly would recommend everything he says must be taken with a grain of salt.
Yes, I found her comment offensive. If you voted for Bush, and yet don't trust his word, hmmmmmmmmmm guess it wouldn't have mattered if you voted for Bush or Kerry!! I happen to trust him and found it very offensive for a news commentator to be adding her comments like this. Can you imagine the furry the left would be in, if a conservative would have made that comment against Kerry.
lighten up just a tad and start the weekend early....this is nothing compared to the invective and crap they usually hurl......this goes under the heading of "big deal, I've seen worse".......
Ha. A MAJOR complaint? What I'd have given to have been a fly on the wall...
shame on you for watching KNBC! LOL
you should be listening to KRLA 870AM!
BILL BENNETT, LAURA INGRAHAM, DENNIS PRAGER, MICHAEL MEDVED
what a lineup!
and you can listen online

Actually, I think it is high time we SPEAK up and let our voice be heard. The move toward conservativism that obviously reared up and showed herself during this past election has given some of us fresh energy. It is time we speak what we feel without fear. If , infact, it was a " commentary" of her opinion, that would be different. We listen to those commentaries and make our own decisions. But as part of a comment off the cuff in the news, I think we need to let those in charge, know that we do not want comments like that as " news".
By the way, I will have a MUCH better weekend for having done what I feel is right. Cheerio.
If you think this is bad read the LA Times editorial in todays paper.
Actually I do listen to KRLA for the most part. Needed the weather today. I definitely will NOT be watching anymore.
oh I get you.........you mean this was a straight news show as opposed to a pundit talking head........well than I stand corrected. If it IS a straight news show then they should hear from all who heard it......sour grapes is very unappealing for those guys..........
the very SIGHT of that paper makes me sick!!!!
got it!! Just a " News" comment.....
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
I take this Bush statement with a grain of salt...
Dec 23, 3:48 PM (ET) Text of President Bush's Kwanzaa 2004 message: I send greetings to those observing Kwanzaa. During Kwanzaa, millions of African Americans and people of African descent gather to celebrate their heritage and ancestry. Kwanzaa celebrations provide an opportunity to focus on the importance of family, community, and history, and to reflect on the Nguzo Saba or seven principles of African culture. These principles emphasize unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith. Kwanzaa strengthens the ties that bind communities across America and around the world and reflects the great promise and diversity of America. Laura joins me in sending our best wishes for a joyous Kwanzaa.
you don't like Bennett's show? he has some good guests on early in the a.m. if you're up that early...although I don't get to listen to his show much and then it's just the last hour if at all
That paper is only good for wrapping fish.
Actually, I used to buy that paper everyday, before I found out what a leftist rag it was. The only consistently "decent" section in the paper is the Sports section.
Now, I only get it on, at best, three days per week: Friday (for the Fry's Electronics 4 page ad), Saturday (for the computer ads in the Sports section) and Sunday (for the coupons and the salespapers).
